Have a bland response...no real personality with young Jack but he is one of Hutchies boys.

I found Finey very entertaining and next to Bartlett the best thing on SEN, but each to there own.

Fine's gone and I reckon Bartlett is in the waiting room & on his way out. Turf has probably saved him for the time being.

Jumped in at the end of this so I apologize. Listened to SEN for a couple of nights recently. Rohan Connolly may be an ok writer but he is absolutely pox as a radio host. Clearly, there's no topic that he can't swing back to himself. It's an art form but one that he's mastered.

MR you can add US baseball to the list, plenty of noise and pantomime, not a lot of actual scoring, like 0 vs 0 after an hour, then it will all happens at the bottom of the 6th while you went out to get some more beers! Happened to me when I was in the US watching a World Series final deciding game back in the 90’s.

Talk about missing the action:

Was talked into going to a Test in the 70s at the G...Pakistan v Australia

Pakis batted all day...Australia took ONE wicket all day

Guess who had his head down reading The Age? No replay in them days...

I can not believe Hutchy has sacked Matt Granland as well. I have not been happy with the changes been made to SEN but I thought I will still listen to their footy calls with Huddo and Granland not any more. Hutchy may bring in some new listeners with all these changes not sure the total number will be any higher than previous numbers though. The final nail in the SEN coffin will be when Dwayne Russell replaces KB next year.

Footyology with him and Mark Fine was a pretty good ch31/youtube series in 2016, Finey balances well with Connoly, and prevents it from turning into what usually occurs on radio, Connoly getting into arguments with everyone. Hope they bring it back

Fair call. I saw it a couple of times and you're right. Perhaps he's someone who shouldn't be given to much reign.

Hutchy doesn't do PC. He does vendettas. Also collecting trophies. He got Whately and Daisy as trophies to put on his media mantelpiece for everyone to admire.

Entirely possible as for some weird reason, Dwayne seems to be highly regarded within the industry.

Not for me, but some love it

Way to slow...

Are you sure NFL ? I cannot imagine how you would fill 3 hours when there is 1 hour of action. TV can replay everything 10 times but radio? May win the "boring" award of 2018.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 15th January 2025

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
