Go port. Eagles don't deserve to be there, were pretty lucky to scrape in.

They are putrid, how we are not playing this game is beyond me.

Port getting plenty of ump non calls, they should be 8 goals up.

I nearly laughed when Hamish and Lingy said today what a remarkable come back from essendon going from wooden spooners to playing finals, they should be applauded.

I will tell you why, because they wernt a bottom team that were like a Carlton, Brisbane or even Melbourne from years back where we were just crap. They got there players back who are pretty good and experienced. They were always going to ahve a better season.

They got the wooden spoon because they lost all these players through there own wrong doing.

Was it McKenzie that didn't rush it and managed to knock it over the boundary line?  Whoever it was, that was epic.

Some phenomenal tackles and one-percenters in the last two minutes.

giphy.gifA somber mood down Geelong way this morning

didn't Dangerfield have Matt jones like kicking effiencency last night ? Sub 40%

dangerwood really carry that team, so no surprise when they stank it up , geelong were putrid

skills and turnovers were abysmal, hardly worthy a final let alone top 4 team , notwithstanding the tiges pressure

Ceratainly seem to be a two man team.

Had we won rnd 23, we would be there instead of Ess...a scary thought...and we would not have Viney or Hogan.

Not feeling so bad about our rnd 23 loss...sorry if that sounds sacrilegious but I don't think I could bear another annihilation at Sydney's hands.  It was the loss to them that derailed our season...the infamous round 15!

...and, I'm certainly enjoying the bombers crash landing

One could speculate whether such a jolly good flogging would be detrimental, as compared to gaining  some finals experience by the young players.

We wouldn't have been in this game. If we'd beaten the filth like we should have we would have been up in Sydney today and this game would be Port v Bombers

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
