Round 18 Non MFC Matches

Muzungu has played about as badly as anyone has ever played.

Shouldn't laugh at injuries, but that was [censored] hilarious.

WC are just a soft club, their tackles aren't sticking and defensive pressure is poor

The hubris on this thread is a laugh: If Richmond win today, they are equal third with a (potentially % boosting) game vs GCS next week.  That will all but guarantee them a position in the 8.

The Dees on the other hand will end the round 7th with a nail biting game each week to hold a position in the 8.

We are not over the line and it may come down to the last game of the season for us as other teams in the running (Port, WCE, Ess and WB) have an 'easier' draw.

Cool the jets folks, one week at a time...

Throw away the lid LH

The time has arrived as a Dees fan to show a little arrogance.

GWS only 14pts down now...lol Richmond.

Richmond have a game against geelong coming up and port play adel. With GWS losing today, our game against them could put us into 3rd with a W. And we'll have to have an eye on percentage if we have north, stk, bris or coll done at 3/4. A little over confidence never hurt no one, as a supporter.

58 f'n free kicks given in toiges (25) vs pygmy's (33) game. seems a bit of a trend lately

maybe maggots get big bonuses for free kicks?

Yeah well Richmond can be flavour of the week...meanwhile Mfc can go quietly about its business.

Wasn't sure what outcome I preferred there, but now that Richmond's won I'm shitty.

11 wins for that mediocre rabble, ugh. Will be kicked out of finals in one match, hopefully by us.

I agree. But how does Rance get away with dropping Johnson off the ball???????????

His name is Rance - as in rancid.

Damn you, GWS.

No. Our fate is in our hands. If we are good enough we will be where we need to be. If not we won't.  It's that simple.

The more I think about it, I don't mind it. GWS are 1 game ahead of us, and not much percentage, and we play them in that time. Even Geelong play 3 of the top 5 or 6 in the run home, so top 4 is massively open,

Basically, if we win 4 of our 5, which is very doable, we finish top 4. GWS is the only current top 8 side we play.

Didn't see the match or incident but it doesn't surprise me to read he's done that and nothing will come of it. Rance is one the dirtiest and overrated players of the past 20 years. He constantly whacks opponents in the guts, clobbers them over the back of the head and pretends he is going for the ball and eye gouges opponents. In the Tigers game against the Bulldogs earlier this year he eye gouged two opponents and nearly concussed one by belting him over the back of the head. Nothing came of it though. He's a protected species by the AFL though due to his religious beliefs and media work.

And how about when he king hit Watts last year because he was getting beaten by every opponent he played on and cracked the sads! And in a week where someone had died from it and it got heaps of media attention. The AFL managed to get that swept under the rug quickly with his suspension and no one in the media ever mentions it, just what a star and amazing player he is etc etc *fap fap fap*

When he gets made to play one on one against an opponent, he more often than not loses, even when they're considerably smaller than him. When he's allowed to roam around with no opponent, no pressure and cut off high balls As a freebie the media jerk themselves stupid likes he's the second coming of Christ. It's pathetic. He's one of the most overrated and dirty players in my lifetime and it disgusts me that he is so adored.

What a horrible 5 minutes that was. Should be bonus points for hitting a target.

Since when have Jehovahs Witness' been a protected species?

If we cut them -do they not bleed out?

Richmond winning means more competition for a spot in the eight, but it softens up the top four big time. A lot of the teams in the eight play each other; pretty much every spot up to third is up for grabs.

All we need to do is keep winning, stuff what anyone else does. As I said previously, this was definitely a good week to have won!

Easily the best way to watch football on tv is without sound. No idiot commentary to get agro about.

If you cross a Hell's Angel with a Jehovah's Witness you get a big bloke who knocks at your front door and tells YOU to fark off.

If west coast play in the 8 it is a joke. They are nicht gutte.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
