GWS has a problem, so much talent in terms of picks but they play crap as a team.  Looks like a team of skilful players who don't really like each other much.

Want them to beat the tigers as thats better for use and puts more doubt in their team.

A team of champions will never beat a champion team....oldy but a goody.

Giants pick and choose when they want to defend, they have no culture. It's a team of champions but not even close to a champion team

This is clearly not right. The Giants need more concessions come draft time.

Rather than a region, can we not just give them Victoria?

Toby Greene should be rubbed out for our game in 2 weeks

blatent punch to rances face. 2 weeks minimum

Of course Rance's jab to the guts that instigated the encounter will go down as (yet again) low impact, low contact, totally accidental - small fine.  Protected sniper.

And the MRP questions re Greene will go along the lines of:

- who does he play for - GWS

- who are they playing week 2 - Demons  - one less week.

Greene should get one week up to two the same as Bernie.

If he doesn't I'll be pretty disappointed with the MRP.

Well, prepare for disappointment.

It was in fact far more aggressive than Bernie's so should go for more, and intentional and not in play (I think it had stopped).

The hubris on this thread is a laugh: If Richmond win today, they are equal third with a (potentially % boosting) game vs GCS next week.  That will all but guarantee them a position in the 8.

The Dees on the other hand will end the round 7th with a nail biting game each week to hold a position in the 8.

We are not over the line and it may come down to the last game of the season for us as other teams in the running (Port, WCE, Ess and WB) have an 'easier' draw.

Cool the jets folks, one week at a time...

What did he say?

Was when they played Sydney, pretty much said what we all think they are a team of front runners, don't work as a team, GWS took offense to that and said as much during the week saying roosy hates them that's why he said it

I agree. But how does Rance get away with dropping Johnson off the ball???????????

Wish we were having another crack at these Tiggies with someone on interchange bench - but oh if that happens come finals then that WILL be one to relish!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
