Didnt see the mark....theyre all over it on the radio. Was it that good?

Not that great. Just a nice clean grab with a big sit and arms extended. Looked nice.

Plenty of time for Essendon to lose this. Not sure I want St Kilda top 4 but I sure as hell don't want Essendon getting close to the top 8 with their ridiculously soft run home (another AFL gift for artificially finishing last).

Hate to say it but I don't mind the Essenshit clash jumper. Red sash, red background with black outline on the sash to separate the two.

Thought red jumpers were out of bounds against the Aints though - although I am well sick of having that debate.

After scoring 90 points in a half against Ninthmond, St. Failda can't kick a goal in the first term on their home deck against the Druggies.  Just further proof that one game doesn't make a season.  They are still in the game of course, but they looked bog ordinary in that quarter.

If you hate to say then don't say it, unless you want us to tell you how bad your taste in Bummer jumpers is...

Such conflicting feels on this. It's definitely better for us if Essendon win, and I'd love to see the media jump right off the Saints because they are so inconsistent but... It's Essendon. Barracking for them feels like treason.

Another one of those games where I wish everyone could lose.

How about a draw?

Nah, there's something honorable about a hard fought draw. I think whoever loses, I just hope they lose by a lot. I will have to accept that that just means the other side won by a lot.

A big win by one of these teams may be as good as 4 points considering that their percentage could catch up to ours though. Maybe a big loss to one of these clubs in the following weeks to a non-contender or top team might be better for us.

Keeping an eye on David Zaharakis tonight @DominatrixTyson?

I've decided to shelve my offer and instead target Brendan Goddard with 1 year playing contract that leads into a coaching position. How you like them apples? :D Vomit Bucket is ready.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
