Im glad hes going to cop weeks now. Gives us a reason to get rid of him.

Rubbish footballer

Hope he gets 5+. I hate watching dog acts like that even if they are from Demons. If the boogt was on the other foot I'd be livid.

We look so very tired. Maybe 3 6 day breaks have taken there toll.

TBH I think our selections have hurt a lot, Wagner and White very fumbly and turnover merchants.

Melksham hands made of cement, costed us 2 really promising attacking plays.

In all fairness...once one fumbles...becomes contagious. Ball bouncing any which way but right...some odd ' decisions' umpiring.

Recipe for a bad night.

Complete dog act and has thrown his game off.

Hate seeing him strutting around with a ripped guernsey like some tough-guy after throwing a sucker-punch like that.

Pathetic by Bugg, has set the tone for the night, players eyes off the ball.

Drinking there own bath water after reading all the talk about being premiership contenders

He's a moron and I hate him in a Melbourne jumper.

Spend less time being a [censored] jocky and more time being a good player.

Will get 4 and it's well deserved.

Gee.. someone clocked on the chin...goes down. Out for the game

Must be weak as plss !!! :rolleyes:

Pathetic by bugg. After what have seen with houli bugg was pretty stupid to do this.  Probably get sent to the tribunal.  Plus it has affected bugg. He's having a shocker.

Deserves six, should never play for the club again.

Seriously?

Was a fan up until tonight, he can [censored] off now and make way for someone who wants it more

Be my first selected ;)

I think Derm made a decent point. What caused him to do that? We saw the hit. We didn't see what led up to it.

That being said, it had to have been bloody awful to warrant that. He is looking at 5 weeks for sure.

Yes.

I think I'll agree to disagree. He committed a dumb act on the footy field. Let's not parade him through the main street. He'll cop a penalty and pay the price. That's how it works.

3-4 I'd have thought. Oh well. Can't continue to pick a loose cannon and act all surprised when it fires off.

Will be more than that I think and so it should.

Dumb, counter productive and self destructive.

Swans will use it.

Ahhhh....reason :)

Bugg.. was....bugged.

Mills got away with it...then copped the whack.

Bit like playing Carlton

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
