GAMEDAY - Round 15

Hard to see this being anything less than a blowout. Will be a shame if it is as they are not that much better a side.

Other than tonight ofc.

A basic skill of footy is taking the ball in one grab, in the air, along the ground, at your feet. Our first touch skills tonight have been atrocious.

Oliver pretty much unsighted. Our midfield brigade is way down. Goodwin needs to do something now.

Oliver has only played 28 minutes, been on bench the rest of the time.  For context OMac has played 55.

We cannot tackle players who stand still, we overcommit every time.

The 'bounce' favours Swans. Not good .

No one looking like able to stop this

Go Dees

Really hate our ins this week both have been putrid

Also seems to me than a lot of bounces just seem to be favouring Sydney. Always just seems to be popping up for them.

Someone needs to step up.

Swans finding players

we keep finding opposition.

:(

Awful quarter and the goal on quarter time gave them momentum.

They are saying on the radio that Sam Frost may have done his hamstring.

Wagner's having a mare. Dropped marks, poor kicks.

Wagner. Never again.

After all that, we are only 20 points down.

About 20 need to.

We need to wake up, our pressure is miles off early. Blokes jogging

You called it early. Our pressure was miles off, and it was remained miles off. We shouldn't even be within 50 points of this mob.

That is it. From the first bounce our first touch has been right off

The pies did this to us, as did the crows for a patch. This lead is absolutely nothing

I'd put hunt behind the ball. Play hannan out of the square

Wagner.  Inspirational selection.

We need one of our patented massive 3rd quarters

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
