It is nice to see the Toump playing. I hope he does make it.

But gee what a 1st quarter. That is how you begin a game Melbourne. But I still feel the hawks an come back. Not saying they will win but they know they can play better.

also I think this could be Gibson's final year.

Yep cant believe we lost to them either.

Toumpas isn't going to make it as an afl player. He has no contested game still.

Yeah but we still drafted him ! What brainiac decided that???

Shocking recruitment!

Toumpas has been the difference tonight.

Just flicked over to this tab on my PC and while reading it heard Toumpas' name mentioned 3 or 4 times on the Channel 7 audio

Go Jimmy!

Hope he does well.

Must’ve played a helluva game. I wouldn’t know. I’ve been watching MasterChef.

Easily best on ground.

Hamish McLachlan: "Not sure what I'm barracking for" says one of the 2 commentators who has clearly been barracking for the Hawks all night AGAIN!

Lowest half time score in Hawthorn's history.

Nice

On track for 98 DreamTeam points tonight (49 at half time) - that'd be a record for the Toump wouldn't it?

Ryder's quality tapwork just highlights what we've been missing.

Cannot be underestimated.

And it means that McAveney isn't growling "Poppy "Roughy" "Hodgy" in his usual demented & sycophantic manner.

He's still managed to, just not as often as he'd like! (Sounds like he's in mourning at half time)

Remarkable comment but an indication how unprofessional some of these guys are. No love for PA but loving this demolition of the Hawks. Just wonderful stuff.

Bruce is cringeworthy

Dennis please come back

He says " please kick a goal " when a Hawks player has a ping.   Why ??? If you want to barrack for a team Bruce, go and sit in the outer.

bruce will have to rely on viagra tonight when he catches up with mrs palmer

I can understand how the Hawks have won a few this year. Their gun players are amazing who from time to time this season, pop up and dominate games. This is what they did in the game v the Dees. I hate them with a passion but I also admire the club and the footy they have produced over the past 10c years.

But tonight shows that it is over, and Clarkson must start again. The old warriors the commentators love with  a sycophantic passion are gone, being run around like orange cones at training. They may rally for a couple of more games this year but the era is over.

Loving it.

I can tell you that St Kilda will be barracking hard given they have Hawthorn's 1st round pick ths year. Could end up being top 3.

Hawthorn are in a world of pain and have no high draft picks. It's a real shame with Jaeger too looking unlikley to play much.

And while I am at it, has there ever been a guy who gets 40 of the least effective touches than Tom Mitchell? Maybe James Magner (did you know he built Eastlink with his bare hands?) I'm on a roll!

DERM: “Hawthorn: Just a little bit old and a little bit young. I’ve got just one thing to say. Go the giants."

Tells you all you need to know about Hawks supporters and their tolerance for pain. In light of what we’ve all been through, it pales in comparison.

for all their remarkable dominance in both quarters PA only kicked 3 goals for all of the second quater and without the three goals in the last few mins of the first quarter the score would be reasonable but not flash.

PA really should be 100 points up at half time

The Toump is looking good tonight but then who wouldn't in a team that is so dominant. Good luck to him though.
