Lol Richmond..

after tanking for the whole 4th quarter wanchors kick a goal with 2 seconds on clock to win by 2 points

cry me a river toiges.....ninth awaits you

The most Richmond thing you could ever imagine.

Richmond just went from equal 1st on the ladder to 8th in less than 30 secs...

Haven't scrolled through the other pages, but did anyone see the press sooking over Cyril Rioli's knee being damaged after he drove it into the back of a Brisbane player? He can do absolutely no wrong in their eyes, it's pathetic. Should be at least fined for rough conduct.

Nothing more satisfying than to see Richmond supporting nuffies get their hopes torn down after getting them unrealistically heightened.

Well, expect seeing that happen to Essendon supporting nuffies.

Cyril Rioli is a very dirty, weak player.

He loves to dish it out, but sooks it up big time when even a feather touches him.

Far out they would be so disheartening. Dominating an entire 4th quarter when you looked like steam rolling the dockers....

Only for Mundy to kick one after the siren.

Did anyone see all the Richmond players signaling to get every player back behind the ball after they hit the lead with 30 seconds left? Still seemed pretty open to me. No one in front on Mundy

Mundy just topped off the weekend, hilarious!

In the AFL rules book there must be a rule that states Dusty can not be penalised for holding the ball whilst trying to fend off 3 blokes whilst putting  an opponent in a headlock and incorrectly disposing of the ball.

What a beautiful thing football can be.

The filth and ninthmond both nutted on the line while we come from behind for a memorable win.

Great weekend!!

And carlscum.

It was great wasn't it, lol.

They played [censored] for 3 quarters, almost stole it with 30 seconds to go, then have it taken from them after the siren.

In any season you will see it is our fate, too miss out on the 8, we win a few, then loose a lot, and then it is too late

Does anyone else find it incongruous if not in bad taste that the AFL has not objected to the Ben Johnson ad being aired during AFL matches.

Seems to make a mockery of what already is a mockery of a policy on drugs !

Maybe a bit of payback for the game they stole from us.

Maybe the footy gods are smiling on us for a change.

He must be seriously struggling for money to agree to be part of that.

Wow, great finish (and even better result!)

Freo were dead men walking.

Dusty Martin should get penalized 3x a quarter, but he is one of the AFL's 'untouchables'.

suck the big hairy ones, Richmond.  Special cheer goes out to the game's biggest sook - Jack Riewolt.

Imagine barracking for a side like Rich... ummm... scratch that.

Both teams stole games off us.

Or rather, we gave them the wins.

I know mate but imo it's better to c Richmond lose like that.

It made my Sunday avo.

Seriously, this is the weekend that keeps on giving.

We smash the Crows in brilliant fashion and then get to enjoy losses to the Filth, Geelong, Richmond and Carlscum.  Doesn't get too much better than that.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
