12. 20 years later and I'm still trying to perfect it. The trick is to use Diet Cola.

My advice is to give it a break for a while Ethan and concentrate on your strengths (eg throwing faeces ) and then come back with renewed enthusiasm.

That was only like seven times.

Geez. The Swans will have to win 12 of their remaining games to make finals. That is a tall order, I think they are cooked.

Hawks not far behind them.

They still have to play each other twice.

Neither are making finals...  it is beautiful.

That was a pretty good win by the blues. They are coming off a 90 point win and manage to beat the grand finalists. And you know what Carlton did to win that game. They kicked straight. It sets up a nice game agianst the pies next week. If htey knock them off then I think the pies fans will be calling for Bucks's head.

But geez Rohan cannot take a trick. That was a nasty land he had and luckily he appears to be ok. But some footballers are just cursed with injuries.

Also well done to Alex Silvagni keeping Buddy to only one goal. Im enjoying this downfall by sydney a bit more than the hawks. Because they loaded up on Tippett and Buddy and they are yet to win a flag. Tippett hasnt been a great recruit for them and I did laugh when Bud said last year he didnt have to justify winning a premiership for the swans. ah Buddy hate to tell you but they didnt get you up there on a massive contract to walk the streets of bondi.

It is funny to see sydney at the bottom of the ladder.

And the saints wow. Hawthorn losses have been massive margins this year.  But did anyone see the josh bruce miss? That was a disgrace right in the goal square.

Loving the Hawks struggling; may it continue for 3 decades!

Sydney will be ok, but the downturn could take 2 years to turn the full circle. Their young players are very very good.

Nick Reiwoldt is one of the true living legend champions of our game. Up there with Flower, Skilton, 2 x Abletts , and others. He is still doing all the repeat effort, gut running, pack crashing and game changing that he was doing early 2000s. His body will be absolutely stuffed when he is 40 and no flag but you havd to admire him.

All clubs get injuries so not an excuse.

It clearly depends on which players get injured.  You can't tell me you wouldn't forgive Geelong a few losses if Dangerfield and Selwood both went down for 10 weeks each at the same time.

Don't be fooled by Sydney being on the bottom.  They are more likely to bounce back 2nd half this season and definitely next season than are North or Hawks.

Sydney have had a bad run with injuries so far (and they lost Tippett this morning).  They have a young list with quite a bit of talent which just need some experience.  About 8-10 of their GF team had played less than 50 games.

I think Tippett comes out of contract his year and it is hard to see him get the mega $ again so that should free up some sal cap space.

They are a very smart, well run club.  Longmire is no dummy and knows exactly where they are at and what needs to be done.

This is a temporary lull for Sydney.  More permanent for North and Hawks.

...but they made some costly mistakes with Tippett and Buddy.

It cost them Mitchell this year and maybe a few more to come.

The type of investment they made demands a flag and I think last year was their best chance.

Yes they will compete and get better throughout the year but they will need to rebuild.

Tippett is sure to be on the market at the end of this season and they're stuck with the Bud deal...

Just saw the crowd at the nth suns game. Wow is anyone there?

Why is this game on TV?! Sounds like a game out at Black Rock, with much less swearing and a couple less chit trucks on the ground.

edit: also less dog chit on the ground... The Black Rock ground that is, which is a designated dog "park" when footy isn't on.

Exactly. Id rather see the derby but unfortunately I dont have foxtel. Adelaide Richmond would have been better as well.

TV... Game after game back to back and WA is a little too late I'd think.

This is why channel 7 is the worst football coverage ever.

They show this rubbish game of North v GC which has only about 13k at the game, while the the WA derby is on FOX..

Is there really that much difference, it's a game no one cares about v a game no one cares about.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE
