Swans missing 5ish players. Blooding plenty of good youth. They are set for years to come. Helps getting two number 1 picks when finishing in the top 4.

Think they'll have a down year, finish around 6th and dominate in the coming years

This.

What's the appeal? He's had one ok game and two poor games so far this season. Same height and weight as Frost, who I think is a much better player.

I still think jake lever is the one we should be chasing, would compliment the McDonald brothers well down back

a good young ruckman to get some more depth in that area would be handy also

He is shaping to be an elite one on one defender and contested mark.  He would free up T Mac to use his run... and there is still room for Sam Frost in the team even if we did have T Mac and Aliir.

All three are superb athletes.

Love Aliir Aliir as a player. Would fit in nicely to our back six. As would Jones, who has really become a good player nowadays. Maybe a little defensively left wanting at times, but a really exciting player. And unlike many speedy linebreakers, is tough at the contest and in the air.

Can't agree with you on Aliir Aliir AF. Seen him twice this year and he looks hot and cold. He looks keen but the concept of defending is one he hasn't mastered. A bit weak one on one I reckon. His errors last night were responsible for at least one West Coast goal, probably two.

Yeah, no brainer really.

Checking Tom Boyd's hair, there's a few out of place, might not come back on.

How are the Bulldogs losing this? North have been [censored] terrible.

Teams are starting to work the Dogs out and it shows.  They stuff around with the ball and then have little to kick to going forward as clubs choke them through the middle of the ground and put pressure on them.  It also helps that the umpires are harder on their use of the handball and that they can't duck their way to free kicks as often as they did last year.  North are just waiting for them to turn it over and then making it count on the scoreboard.

And as SWYL said above, this has been a horrible game to watch.  Why couldn't they give this game to anyone but North?

Football died in that half.
