Collingwood have taken handball lessons from Luke Beveridge -- how many times do they get away with blatant throws.

And outrageous free to Collingwood for  below the knees when it was actually kicking in danger.

The umpires calling rate is so low that it's worth doing if you're only going to get called once or twice here or there.

Tv commentary is puerile. Bruce reminds me of my childhood in the 80's and most things back then were [censored]... cheezles included. Bruce, you are cheezles.

Strange observation/question from just before the game started.  One of the trainers rubbed something on both of Buddy's arms and his arms were shiny afterwards.  Looked like they were covered in baby oil or something.  Can anyone clarify for me what it was?

probably plain ole rubbing liniment

That was absolutely pathetic, Jones. What an idiot.

Trying to remember the common brands way back in 60s 70s

Can still remember their smell lol

Bloody maggots -- Jones should have benn given 50, instead a freebie goal to Collingwood.

Bruce has got cancer hasn't he? Cut him some slack I reckon....don't mind if the pies win....it will pot Sydney, and give the pies a false dawn till we play them.

He played on when he was a foot away from his opponent.

Doesn't mean he's still got it as a commentator though.

And I'm thinking about my tips. I got 9 from 9 last week. I want 9 from 9 again.

When was the last time a side started 0-3 and made finals?

North started 0 & 4 in '75 and won the flag.

So it's no where near the norm then, if swans lose makes it hard

Why do commentators (especially BT) keep talking about a player or team having a 'world record' or being on 'world record pace'?  It is redundant.

It's just an interesting bit of footy trivia ... and an aberration of course.

Keep in mind MD... BT is a very poor commentator. Often just makes shlt up to sound relevant.

Seldon successful

How soft is Hoskins Elliot?

Both of these teams deserve to be 0-3 to be honest.

How about 0.5-2.5?

Think you answered your own question...BT is redundant!
