You're right.

There's too much bull involved.

They are not exactly stampeding in to the marketing office.

one wonders if they can even steer anyone to a meating

This sponsor spot has been a sacred cow for too long.

They need to whip it along.

Grab the chance by the horns.

Seriously what do you want from the club?

1. We don't have a sponsor because.........

2. Our price is too high

3. No one wants to sponsor us

4. We dont want to lower our price to set a low benchmark for future

5. We are in deep discussions and nearly there.

Get over yourself.

We don't have one. Do you think the club are trying to get one? Do you want the club to issue a press release every time we make a phone call to potential sponsor?

I'd be guessing you don't work in the commercial world becasue you sure as hell have little idea about how it works.

I think you're gone a bit too hard on this post jnrmac. Gorgorth made a pretty reasonable observation. Perhaps you need to get over yourself

Noticed it was Merc Vans. I presume there's a difference in price, but still a good get.

Helps if you win a flag though. Give PJ a flag and he'd land Merc too, particularly for our membership base.

Thread has become udderly ridiculous.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
