Depresses me that a grown adult doesn't know the difference between his and he's.

Where did this come from? When I was growing up I never knew anyone to confuse these two words but now I see it all the time.

So it was a quick reply, but didn't cover the points in my post, any answer on those? Nice little joke by the way, of course if it was original, Idris Elba would be proyd of you

Apologies, it was pretty immature, but I couldn't resist.

- Mitchell has one of the best footy brains and awareness I've seen. Further to that, his initial acceleration is quick enough to break away and deliver the kick or handball.

- Lewis has been made to look a better player than he actually is IMO. Pace is average, quicker than Trengove.

- Kieren Jack, I disagree on. He has pace and a very, very good sidestep which allows him to quick-foot out of traffic.

- Kennedy is a beast, 193cm and 100kg. He doesn't need to be quick, and I'd say the same about Scott Thompson.

Idris appreciates that Saty.

And even though I've delved into this debate about pace with you, I actually very much support Trengove's contract extension, and not for sentimental reasons. I think he has it in him.

How can something that's "in your own opinion" be without doubt?

A turn of phrase that should have been changed when I added "IMO".

Definitely an online thing. With the advent of MSN messenger, people needed to write things, but there was never any grammar checking. This lack of regard for grammar has flowed into the new social medias such as FB, Twitter etc. In fact, I'd argue Twitter encourages poor grammar with its character limit.

in some cases yes, but i think in the main it is shithouse reading and spelling directives that are forced on teachers by the lunatic ideologues in the education department

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
