Worst thing in that story is Jayden Hunt being called 'Hunty'. Really? That's his nickname?

Donald Trump on the other hand...

Now there's an orator. Sorry, getting orator and nutter mixed up.

Kevin Sheedy?

I think that both you and Polonius may be misguided.

Both Sheedy and Hamlet feign being mad as a ruse, on the other hand Trump?   "Though this be madness, yet there is method in't."  - Shakespeare

Sorry. Let's get back on topic. Hunt does not appear at all in Hamlet.

However, Hunt (and it's various derivatives, such as hunter, huntsman, etc) appears 82 times in Shakespeare's plays, and once in a sonnet.

I can't remember what this thread was about but the nickname part is funny. I have heard the players yelling out "Killer" to Watts at training, and I still think "Nibbler" is great for Neal-Bullen. What is odd though, is that they all seem to call Dawsey "Chris". Doesn't seem to have a nickname or just prefers Chris. Strange, I can think of a few for him.

The creative nicknames like Cracker for Ormond Allen, and Juice for anyone named Newton are the best. Moo for Darren Kowal.

I've had mates in the past that have gone through so many nicknames that eventually it goes full circle and you go back to calling them their first name because it sounds so strange to call them that.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
