Don't let the score fool you, St Kilda are playing as well as us.

Too many skill errors and too many handballs.

I agree Clint. The one thing in our favour is that we are taking our chances at the minute. We look great going forward.

Agree.

We are making it hard for ourselves at times, but we are the better side right now. We look great going forward and we have been excellent at the contest. Just need to tighten up a little.

Viney doing a stellar job on Jack Steven as well.

Ordinary ordinary game.

Really poor skills. Players are looking tired. Clearance work is not great.

We've had a great run with the umpires.

What, because Saints supporters are booing?

You're clearly struggling to find more negative things to post.

Great to see Brayshaw back in the team and getting a few touches. Reads the game so well.

I disagree, I think they got 2 lucky goals out of the 3 they scored. They haven't yet got an answer for our speed, run or pressure and if we tidy up our ball movement, continuing the intensity, we can bury them by half time.

Really liking Brayshaws game. Starting in the Centre and playing a good defensive game while getting a lot of the ball.

Need our tackling pressure to really lift next quarter

Lucky that two of their marks haven't been paid, but in saying that they missed at least five frees that we should have been given.

Yep, really poor.  Those 6 goals were awful.

Plenty to improve but ball movement when away from contest is good and the forward line is very dangerous.

Kent was probably our best in that quarter. Genuinely exciting when he plays like this.

Watts is looking a class above at times.

Saints full ground pressure could be telling as the game goes on. They tackle like men possessed.

And Hickey has Gawns measure, again.

What I like is that it's our second string, not our prime movers, who are doing well. Kent, Harmes, Tracc, M Jones

Are you even watching the same game? Seriously.

How good can his kicking be?  He is still prone to the odd brain fart but gee, his kicking over 40-50m is sublime.  His kick to Hogan was perfect and allowed him to body Dempster away from the contest and mark the footy.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
