I see a time, far into the distance, where you don't need to mention this each week. What a time that will be.  We get it big fella.

Truth is Stranger than Fiction...

Cmon Injectors, there is nothing more I like seeing that the Tuggers getting beaten and their fans deflating and warming microwaves.

Na [censored] em. Richmond haven't cheated

Go Port...  if we win tomorrow, Dees vs Power in a few weeks time will be huge. North are cooked.

Has a team ever gone 9-0 and missed the finals?

Give it a few weeks and we might find out.

Not an AFL game but O'Meara has sat out the 2nd half of the NEAFL game with 'tightness' as a 'precaution'.

Ablett and Rischitelli are out for quite some time (season?).

While it is always better to win against other teams best, I hope GCS continue to be cautious with Prestia and O'Meara as we play them in a fortnight.

I'm not sure which of the Scott brothers I hate more. Any suggestions/comments so I can make a decision?

It's a tough one.  Both are sooks, one was gifted a flag while the other is coaches Norf.  Just enjoy hating them both.

If only their zygote didn't split in two then there would have been only one to hate.

As for your question, too close to call.

Split eggs mate 50/50

Norf - yes it's very, very sad. Would have liked the brother to have lost against Fremantle but this will do nicely. The upside for the club is that their players will have a longer season to engage in social media.

Imagine them both in the pram together, spitting there dummies sooking and waling. Faces you would love to slap.

What I really love about Norths slide is that when they were 9-0 all their supporters were asking "why don't other fans consider us premiership contenders?" Well one thing pretty much all premiership contenders have is depth, yes they have been hit by injury but the best teams cover it. Also they had a soft as butter first half of the draw and were very lucky against us and the Saints. Both teams have improved but are hardly world beaters.

Also hate Brad Scott, so seeing him miserable will bring me joy!

I said the same thing about One Direction.

One of them has Lindsay Thomas and Boomer Harvey playing for him, so that doesn't help.

That stupid over reaction in the box that the Scott brothers have to umpiring decisions fills me with rage.  I dont wish bad on anyone, but Id love for both of them to disappear, maybe abducted by aliens.  As long as they are gone.

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
