I reckon this team would beat our Marky Neeld team from 4 years ago in a canter.

I'd settle for it beating Willy tonight. They're a quality VFL club.

Any signs of who's missing out of Petracca and ANB? Heard Garland is playing tonight, so expecting ANB to be designated emergency, but keen to find out for sure.

Cheers to all those going tonight, will be Casey's first big test for the year and we are a couple of players down as well.  Hopeful that Petracca can at least play a decent game and keep his name in the frame for selection next week.

It's being broadcast again this week on Casey radio 97.7. Get onto it. Saves us having to comment so much and we can watch the game. On my way down they announced ANB is being held over as the emergency for tomorrow.

Weideman kickeda great snap just before and Hulett took a strong mark to kick our first.

Willy have answered both and it's goal for goal.

Very even game so far. If anything, Scorps have had more control, but Willy have had more breakaway goals on the run. I'd rather have our form than theirs for the 1st qtr.

Quarter time svore board reads Scorps 4.0.24 Gulls 5.1.31. We're actually 4.1, haven't been credited with a rushed point after a snap from Petracca.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
