And remember the Jones Rule. You must specify your Jones or your votes won't be considered.

PS: When Oscar and Tom are in the team, the Jones Rule applies to them as well.

6 Watts. Won it when it was there to be won

5 Viney. Kicked an important goal and was great in the clinches.

4 Gawn. Performances like this are becoming the norm now.

3 Tyson. 2 goals and a bunch of possessions without coughing it up.

2 Bugg. His best game for the club.

1 Wagner. Super debut 2nd game.

6.  Viney: Was in the action all day. Couple of errors but made up for it with his tenacious attack on the ball. Is getting better and better and wouldn't be surprised if he has a few Brownlow votes in the bag already.

5. Gawn: Set up our first quarter dominance by monstering Grundy in the ruck. Took some important contested marks as well

4. Watts: When Collingwood began to challenge, Watts was the one who responded with three goals in the second. Would've liked to see him bag 5+, but with the form he's in a game like that isn't too far away.

3. N.Jones: Typical Jones game. Well done skipper.

2. Wagner: I love Wagner. Looked so composed in just his second game

1. Frost: Giving Frosty a vote out of the sheer amusement I feel while watching him. Loved his goal in the first!

Plenty unlucky to miss out.

N.Jones. Was there for 4 quarters

J.Watts. Consistent. A target. Usual good disposal.

McDonald. Pace and agility in defence and no shockers,

Viney. Tough at the contest as usual.

Gawn. Gave us plenty and had impact around the ground.

Wagner. Very impressive. Attacking. Takes the game on and backs himself.

Armchair view.

6 - Watts: On target for 40 goals this year. Coming of age.

5 - Viney: it's literally like we have a pitbull running around with a Melbourne jumper on.

4 - Wagner: Was everywhere.

3 - Tyson: 24 touches 2 goal games were a feature of his 2014 season. Getting back to that level. Could improve his handball.

2 - N. Jones: He just sort of blends into the crowd with more support, but still a great player.

1 - Pedersen: 20 touches 2 goals. Classic 'role player'

Yes, I tried to fit Pedo in also. Probably his best game.

6. Watts - For sticking it up the Magpie Army and booting straight in the first half, plus his defensive efforts in the second half.

5. Kennedy - For sticking it up the Magpie Army with a smashing goal in the first quarter

4. Viney - Some aggressive and daring runs

3. Wagner - I just love fairy tales

2. Pedo - Had his marking hands today - woo hoo! He seemed to pop up at crucial times across the back and half-back line and helped to the son of Demon-Pete under control

1. Jetta - For keeping Fasolo quiet - Jet's renaissance continues

Special mention to #38 for Collingwood for giving me a glowing feeling of hubris. I loved his apparent personality and high marks but he rarely seems to quite do enough to justify himself in an AFL team.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
