3rd or later, possibly a rookie. Thereโ€™s some talent but he hasnโ€™t really come on much.

Best projects as a a key defender, at least initially

If he'd picked GC we'd all be spewing that we've been screwed by the system and just lost another Jackson. Now he's coming to us the MFCSS has struck instantly and he's a probably dud long term prospect. ๐Ÿฅธ

He didnt even mention anything remotely close to saying that...

Brilliant news. Max better start passing the knowledge down to him ASAP. Then hopefully he can be our ruck until George Gawn takes over after Kalani.

It was meant in jest my friend. And not directed at him. Directed at all of us.

George will end up at the Filth

So the rumours are true. Maxy will be there next season and play his next 100 games there so George goes there as an FS.

Lol. That's a but harsh Ghosty. They all look pretty fit as if they still in their prime to me.

Hardly how I'd refer to our former captain, caretaker coach and last Brownlow medallist.

Really happy with this news.. his first game with Casey was excellent and with Tony 7.1 surround sound Cinema set to be MFC this is FANTASTIC NEWS!

Thanks mods. We need good news. And this is fantastic Thanks mods

Great article on the AFL web page. Caro will be crying tears . Go Deeโ€™s you should all read it

This is genuinely pretty exciting. It's obviously going to be a slow-burn with KW, but it's great to have a tall coming through who has a high ceiling and has shown moments of being able to match it with the big boys. He's raw, but his ability to leap at the contest combined with his agility makes him a mouth-watering prospect.

He reminds me quite a bit of how Sam Darcy was looking coming through. Now I'm not for a second suggesting that he'll have same output as Darcy, SD is an absolute freak and will be one of the greats of his generation. But there are similarities, IMO in terms of build and ability to impact the contest, get around the ground and be a tall with a genuine ability to leap combined with great mobility.

Can't wait to see him in the red and blue. It'll be interesting to see what we now do from a pick/draft value culmination.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isnโ€™t a standard conceptโ€”itโ€™s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking. ย We filled our boots with percentage โ€” now a whopping 520.7% โ€” and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourneโ€™s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasnโ€™t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's ย six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his teamโ€™s unfulfilled potential rang true โ€ฆ well, almost.ย
