May have to alter my avatar (or get the MCG to alter the sign at M9 from rectangular to circular).

When I go to begin a new papragraph, I have to manually select upper case.

anyone else?

I like how you 'adopted' the new club logo!

This membership reputation thing is, I dunno, bizarre.

Why is it there?

Other than that - love the site and great work Andy and Nasher

thanks RM, I didn't know what you were talking about, so went looking... I've never known it was there before...  not one for stats.

It's in the to do list.

The button has now arrived, and I've put it to the test.  Fantastic site, and getting better all the time .... just like our beloved DEMONS.  Thanks for the massive amount of work guys.  As an interstate member, Demonland is my footy 'lifeline'.

Posting testing, testing 1,2,3

All working fine as far as I can tell ..even on mobile , currently  samsung galaxy s4...will switch to nexus 5 soon .

Don't  expect a problem.

It's  a tricky job often porting platforms.  Don't  miss it a bit :)

Well  done chaps

All going swimmingly from my point of view ... even to the point where I can now quote a post on my phone without having to go to the full site.

Again, thank you to all that run this site and moderate it ... you're all doing a sterling job and keep up the good work. The new look is great.

Ok...Strangely  when on mob plat. When i go to reply to a post an older reply keeps coming up. Have to erase it before  writing  new one. Odd :)

I just tested it out. If you start writing a post but never post it the unposted post will remain there. This is actually a good thing as it effectively saves your post in case something happens like closing the page or pressing back. In previous versions you would have lost the post if something like that would happen. Once you post in the thread it won't happen again.

Working well, lots of cool features. Thanks for the time, you can tell that it is a work of love.

There is still a bit of work to be done on the look and feel of the site. There are some tweaks that still need to be done but we are getting there.

I know people have made comment about the "white" back ground but so far this fix is alluding me. I can change every other aspect of the page but not that one and it should be able to be changed. I might have to put a support ticket in to get that one resolved.

Yes it does...just saying.

It didn't  in this thread for the reasons you mentioned.

But every  time i go to the Saga thread an older part answer is there even though i later completed  it and posted.

Ah well

Ah well

It could be a glitch or something else technical that could have something to do with the device/browser/operating system/colour of your undies. I tested it out on my last post and it cleared once I posted.

Ill change boxers and let you know ;)

don't the vendors have a forum where users like yourself can discuss such matters (without having to raise or pay for a vendor support ticket)?

There is but many of the questions in the forum get unanswered particularly if you are a newbie.

In any event because I pay for the highest support package I can raise as many support tickets as needed.

You must be putting in heaps of volunteer time Andy. Thanks - it's very much appreciated.  :roos:

I have no idea in this new software how or where to alter my avatar. This is not urgent so when the important stuff is done can you let us know how to fix this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

The Dogs reigned supreme in 2018 with an inaugural AFLW premiership cup and the Demons matched this feat by winning the cup as the Season 7 2022 champions.Meggs wasn’t born when the Doggies won their first VFL premiership cup against the Demons in 1954. Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.

  • PREVIEW: Hawthorn

Hawthorn and Melbourne. Two teams with impressive form from last week but with seasons that are travelling on different trajectories meet in Saturday’s twilight game for what could well be the most intriguing contest of the AFL’s penultimate round. Sadly, the game has been relegated to that unappealing time slot in the weekend when Melburnians are typically preoccupied with activities other than football. It falls between the morning's shopping, afternoon sport and recreation, and Saturday night fever. A time usually reserved for relatively insignificant events but this one is not a nothingburger for either of the clubs or their fans.

In advance of Season 10, the AFL leadership has engaged in candid discussions with all clubs regarding strategies to boost attendance and expand fan bases. Concerningly, average attendances in 2024 were 2,660 fans per match, with the women’s game incurring an annual loss of approximately $50 million.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.

The Demons return to the MCG this time as the visiting team where they get another opportunity to put a dent into a team's top 8 placing when they take on the Hawks on Saturday afternoon. Who comes in and who goes out?
