Is there a token to get a scarf? Like previous years? Usually it says on the membership card at the back

My 2010 scarf is still going strong and will no doubt be pressed into use again in 2016.

2010 I think is the last time we had a Red and Blue Scarf since then Maroon and Blue.

Hope springs eternal 2016 will be Red and Blue for sure.

It will wont it?

Would dearly love a cap with the new logo. Don't understand why they don't do this every few years. A lot of other clubs do.

They should let you bank credits from not getting a scarf each year, and trade them in for other merchandise (eg a cap) at a certain point. Run it through the Melbourne rewards program if they have to.

Do the stickers actually say "Member" on them this year? And please don't tell me there are 467 that fill the one normal sized sticker sheet?

Five in total of modest size, one says "MFC 2016 member"

Mail in the morning? That's service!

I live close to the city, but my post office has been taken over by hard working immigrants

I now get the service I deserve.

It happened here a couple of years ago. What a balls up it was. The amount of misdirected mail was mountainous. Finally there were enough objections from the good burghers to have them tossed out.

I usually tie my scarf around the seat I am sitting on for my last game of the year. I think that occurred in Round 2 2012, Round 8 2013, Round 20 2014, then Etihad Round 23 2015.

I want my scarf to last well into the finals this year.

Just browsed thru the calendar and saw some new calendar faces: Gawn, Brayshaw, Hogan, Pearce, and Garlett.

And, Brayshaw and Hogan grace the cover; the do look mighty fine!

All the new faces made their mark on the season in their own way so good to see them included.

Especially good to see the Club continue to support women's football, by including Daisy.

What I have done (which I saw an older lady have at the footy one day), is get them all sewn together to create a rug or blanket. It looks pretty cool and puts them all to good use. Then just add them as the years go on.

Yes, Grimes and Dawes out of the calendar.

Not surprised at all.

Another sign they are on notice.

Their positions in the Leadership Group could also be in jeopardy!

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
