GAME DAY - Round 22

Featured Replies

Fark this,I'm turning it over to the darts.

Be positive guys

We are signing jimmy ToumpAs up for another 2 years...

What the hell happened to coming out angry? Somebody do SOMETHING! ANYTHING! Start a [censored] fight and show some passion for the jumper.

Roos's gameplan is so archaic and defensive (which isn't working) that we can't even score

7 goals to none and Freo are playing at 60%

If you're going to lose at least take the game on and run both ways and attack the ball when its there rather than wait for some one else to get it. I can take skill errors but lazy football I can not.

I back that we kick it to their spare a further 5 times this quarter. How dumb are we.

Agree. But then we can't hear about turnovers in the corridor

Damned if we do, damned if we don't

One thing I don't like with Hogan is that he cracks the sooks nearly every time it doesn't go his way.

Nice of the players to put in an effort for Jones.

Disgusting. Loose. Lazy. Unaccountable.

Sick of this team and this club.

I know I will cop some hate for this, but bloody hell Cross does my head in. I know immediately we will be losing by a lot when he has our most disposals. It's time for him to hang up the boots he is slow and useless with the football.

We need leadership correct but jeez he's not that vital

How are they always free. Far out we are being out run

8 goals to 0

I'm positive. I'm positive that we are the weakest bunch of lazy unaccountable players.

I haven't seen a group of players put in less effort since... Well since Melbourne was coached my Mark Neeld.

The last four weeks have been very Neeldesqe

How was that not a free to Oscar? Had both hands free and was being tackled by a bloke facing the wrong way! Absolute [censored]!!!!

im scared what the margin could be, Matt Jones -3 AFL fantasy points, having a rip snorter

Has any team lost by 200 point?

This could be the biggest thumping in the history of AFL football even VFL

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
