Roos talked about the new interchange cap bringing shut-down players back to prominence again on 360 last night.

It's no surprise we're heavily linked to this guy. Put Hannebery and Boak to the sword late in the season.

Hardly inspiring but at least we're nibbling away.

The kid had big wraps before he was drafted. Im not overly excited but at least he is not a delisted pickup.

If he is being earmarked for a main tagging role it would help free up Viney and Vince , which will obviously be huge for us.

The most common knock I've heard on Bugg is that he isn't a great kick. He goes at 76.6% which probably sits somewhere around average / below average for a defender. That's overall disposal efficiency so handballs as well.

I havent watched him closely though (don't make a habit of tuning in to GWS), can anyone shed light? Where did he primarily play this season?

Bugg is a competitor, who has played mainly back, but also a bit on-ball. He's a good size, but can butcher the ball by foot.

For evidence, look at round 23 versus the Dees.

seagulls don't hunt much, they gather anything they can, including easy pickings from tips. They are in good health & not underweight. They reuse discarded material for their purposes well.

we need to take all we think can help us. No team is a SoOrigin side.

one mans scrap, is another creators treasure. we must stop thinking like women at a supermarket. only looking to the shelves.

Just on Bugg, he definitely competes but his footskills are a bit questionable. He's deceptively quick as well. As someone alluded to, he might be a nice run with player which will free up Viney.

I think he means we have to start foraging for draftees like a seagull does for food. I say we split out resources between the beach and KFC car parks..

haven't you heard, "beggars can't be chooses", it seems, with Danger & Parker running the other wayz, & last year who was it again.?

Taking scraps while growing bigger & stronger, keeps us alive & kicking.

So, we miss out on our upper level getting an off the shelf Lift,,, oh well. But we can still lift our nether regions up a few degrees, so they don't drag along the ground any longer... yes you get the picture, stu.

anyhow, keep your pecka up mate, gravel rash isn't pleasant.

give me some 'sheedy shyte', some 'brereton rumble', & some 'grinter fire & deesire', with just the hint of sinister saus.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
