Harley Bennell

Wow. Hope I never go into your emergency ward. No shades of grey with Kali. You're either a shut in who's never gone outside of his/her house or comfort zone (a saint) or someone who has experimented/dabbled in some recreational drugs (a devil).

You sound like a theological enforcer/bible basher/aggressive athiest. Don't feel you need to tell other people how to live, you don't actually get a say in that.

There's a world of difference between theological enforcers, bible bashers and aggressive atheists.

Kali, I think you may be better off supporting the Pies - you like things Black and White.

You would be better off in their website. They love crime, bad behaviour tattoos and drugs.

Anywhoo, back to Harley Bennell coming to MFC in a trade for MJones, Jordie and Bail......

What you don't get is that there are some things that are just plain right and wrong. Whether they happen now or in BC 2000 makes no difference. The so called modern humanism is a small blip in the history of the world as you are. There is nothing that is happening today that has not happened before over the course of time in human existence.

Clearly you're a troll; nobody is this stupid.

Om Sri Maha Kalikayai Namaha

Everyone else may as well just pack up shop and let Hawks, Sydney, Geelong, West Coast, Freo and Adelaide rotate the premiership each year.

What could the Hawks offer? Suckling and pick 20? Surely that wouldn't be enough.

O'Rourke and Dayle Garlett should get it done.

I'm all for Harley but not at 700k. Not a chance. Too much risk involved.

The money aspect does not worry me, the club will have clauses in the contract that if he stuffs up the contract becomes null and void.

It's the use of draft picks/ players that worries me. If we used pick 6 and he loses his shite over summer then we have wasted a first round pick and got nothing in return.

I would not offer more than our second round pick for him. If Howe wants to leave then maybe bundle them up, but I really hope we do not use our first rounder on him, too big a risk.

Is that Cotchin's game from yesterday?

Fk..

Was really hoping we would have a crack..Oh well

We know how keen Roos is to get serious talent into the side - as much as it's annoying that we may not be chasing Bennell, on the flip side it means the club believes that he is not the right person to bring in to the culture and standards we are setting. It's hard to argue with that.

Im guessing that Dangerfield said he didnt want to play beside him.

Just my take.....

Im guessing that Melksham said he didnt want to play beside him.

Changed it to a more likely scenario...

Jed Lamb anyone?

I'm not all that keen. Been through 2 clubs already and doesn't really fill a need.

Jed Lamb anyone?

No thanks, I'll fine with my regular lamb

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?
