GAMEDAY - Round 17

Wtf has Paul Roos done? We are the same [censored] as always

For those of us who can't watch (for which it seems we should be thankful), is it a case of St Kila out-pressuring us? Or are the turnovers and poor skills unforced and just our own players' doing?

Did you see the Essendon game? Just imagine the third quarter but played over a whole game.

Awesome!!! if we dont score this quarter that is 2 goals in our last 4 quarters of football. Disgusting

1 goal in 4 quarters of football.

Jake Niall is wrong. Saints are miles ahead of us atm. We look poorly organised and very poorly skilled

We have gone full retard today.

Dawes looked so happy after that. He was legitimately surprised he kicked it.

I've seen enough.

I reckon we will win. The only way is up from this shite. Big second half coming up.

Weak, pathetic, incompetent, lethargic, unacceptable, disgraceful., hopeless, weak willed, negligent, heartless, prosaic, half baked, useless, timid, unskilled, leaderless, rubbish, negligent, putrid, egregious, pusillanimous, gangrenous - and that's a list of the positives.

Only made worse by our only skill - giving away frees

Look at the saints flinging themselves forward it's sickening.

Did you see the Essendon game? Just imagine the third quarter but played over a whole game.

I thought that might be the case.

From a cursory look at the stats, we're overpossessing, over handpassing, but being beaten in the three areas we win when we play well - CPs, clearances, tackles. That's very disappointing, given the opposition and venue, and given what we've been able to achieve this year.

Gees VB is playing poorly today. Worst game ive seen him play by a mile.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
