Round 15 - Non MFC Games

Just another Friday night Carlton special, then.

Certainly unexciting compared to every Thursday night game the last month. They've been fantastic.

I like the Thursday night matches too Lamashtu. I reckon this is close to the worst match I've seen this year.

Stiff competition, been some absolute duds with Brisbane and Carlton.

Wet weather footy doesn't have to be dull though, just look at last night. The problem is the teams playing tonight; Carlton are hot garbage and the honeymoon period is over, while Richmond are thoroughly overrated. They play like garbage against crap teams and only turn up against the good ones; poor culture.

I would have watched the cricket but it bamboozles me how that lummox Watson continues to get a game

Last night: 15 free kicks.

Tonight: 55 free kicks.

Gee whiz, what a surprise considering the two teams who played. They both get questionable, bizarre, soft and laughable free kicks paid to them at clutch moments. Must have been quite the dilemma for the umps tonight about who to favour.

The Walsh family had a small private funeral yesterday.

I hope the crows can come out and do what Port did last night and play out of their skins.

Barracking for Crows tonight.

Wish them well, whatever the result.

And the Bulldogs come from 30 points down to take the lead in the 4th. [censored] I'm jealous of good young teams.

And not only storm home but get goal after goal after goal after goal after goal without missing a [censored] thing.

[censored] hell this club shits me!

dogs have kicked 5 in a row. Helps that you kick straight as well.

Geez a year ago people were saying they are a basket case. Sack there coach and lose there captain. They are sitting 6th on the ladder and they are above collingwood. Christ they dont focus on there past. They just get on with the future. Makes me wonder how we beat them. They have now won 4 in a row.

But... but... teams that play lots of kids aren't meant to do well! They aren't meant to win games!

Bulldogs and Saints are miles ahead of us and they're filled to the brim with players from the last 2 drafts.

It must be nice to support a team that subverts all pre-season expectations on the field in a positive way.

Rather than leading supporters into a false sense of security then crushing all their hopes and dreams to a pulp... yet again.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full
