My Favourite shout at the Telly...."Shut Up. Bruce"

I'm sick of the Too much analysis... pulling the game apart like flies pinned on a science cutting board.

let us get back to reactive footy with spontaneous inspiring football efforts & reactive humour & laughter ... tired of all this science in footy commentary.  let us be,,,  footy channels, or we'll turn off & go do something else.

I thought Ian Robinson was a great commentator and going right back.........Jack Edwards    They just called the play as it happened....Called the right players.........None of the 'Special Comments' men  explaining what happened 4 plays ago and what they should have done (dermi is the worst at that.)

here here Bossdog... I totally agree.

let the game get back to a spontaneous affair.

And from public life in general.

Unfortunately these days what with digital HD TV and its slight delay, and digital radio or internet radio with bigger delays, it can be difficult to turn the TV volume off and listen to the radio commentary.

This is easy fixed..

If you have Foxtel or a smart tv with usb recording.. You can pause the TV long enough to sync up your radio station of choice on a digital radio!

Between 1-5 (25 frames per sec)....seconds is the delay

done on purpose to stop exactly what you want to do!!

Let's face it - both television and radio commentary is mostly aimed as children and idiots. The number of good commentators and/or commentary teams is a bare fraction of the total number of commentators. There is simply not enough talent to cover all the broadcast outlets.

Oh yes i know you can do it.

But the average viewer doesn't they just accept the delay. That is why the TV Stations do it

if the tv delay > radio delay then you are stuffed. you can't speed up the video

I wonder if you could use a digital radio and delay that feed instead.

Nobody work works for Channel 7.

Except Denis Cometti, as any Ex West Perth player must be good.

I think Sandy Roberts is on the money and very good, over the years he has been nothing but passionate when Melbourne games were on IMO!

Ox is good.Darcy is good,Eddie is good bar Pies games.

Commetti is an absolute [censored] of the highest order.I just dont like the way he adds in little snide comments all the time. (Done it for years)

Dermie over analyses games...but hes ok.

Macavaney is a moron

BT is a moron who antagonises Richo during games on purpose for ratings because Bt sucks at what he does.

Russell is rubbish.

Brayshaw makes me cringe when he talks...its like being forced to listen to a cat slowly dying..

All in all, Id take Ed,Darcey & Sandy Roberts as a team IMO.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
