Who could forget this one.

looking at the 25 listed there there were quite a few VFL players and then we lost Fitzpatrick before half time as well as McDonald.

Six no longer at the club and Trengove as we now know on one leg.

Surely we can win this one!

We had a fair few more scoring shots as I recall, and Riewoldt only cut loose after T Mac got injured

Gotta win this

It's hard to believe that only 14 months ago we put out a side with Byrnes, Georgiou and Trengove in it. It feels like several years since Jack played, and the other two have been long banished from my memory.

We should win this, but it all depends on whether we decide to play for four quarters or two.

If we lose this our players will definitely suffer from mental issues.....

Start of the year I would have marked this as a win, I'm no where near as confident anymore.

It would be disastrous if we lost this.

Another loss to the Saints.

Another loss at Etihad.

If we have "improved", then we should win.

If we don't win, I can't see how anyone could possibly argue that we've improved.

I'm 100% certain we will lose this. My wife is a saints supporter and this last 8 years has been hell. I've given up on getting one up on her with the footy.

Sorry mate, I hate to tell you but I think Mrs Pipefitter will be rubbing more salt into your wounds on Sunday night.

Damn Etihad curse!

Would have to agree, if the players are to show improvement and the club is to sell hope then we need to be beating the teams around us in the bottom four. For me this is the most important game of the year so far...time to beat them and move forward...

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
