Starting to enjoy Bucks on 360. He doesn't just waffle on with political mouthwash the way Roosy sometimes does; he calls a spade a spade.

Said the same after watching him last week. Calls it as he sees it but is considered in his responses. Is showing an intelligence that certainly wasn't evident to me previously.

Why is everyone against what Mitchell did? EFC deserve everything they get. Serves them right. They rolled the dice and lost.

And its not like it isn't true. It's factual.

It what I would expect our players to do to put the drug cheats off their game.

But this made me laugh.

"League operations manager Mark Evans warned players not to repeat the supplement scandal sledge, saying they should consider their own reputations before making another similar gesture.

(Players) have to accept they are displaying themselves publicly and it will be a reflection on them and their clubs, Evans said.

But a Club sponsored illegal substancea program is OK?

Do you have to be a complete [censored] to work for the AFL?

I think he's been excellent on 360. It struck me last night that that comment was also partially to get a rise out of Robbo who was unfortunately not really paying attention at the time.

Noticed that subtle comment as well and wasn't surprised Robbo didn't pick up on it. His idea of commentary is the grammatical equivalent of hitting someone with a sledgehammer.

Not sure it could go lower TF!

Not sure it could go lower TF!

Maybe he is worried that f the players bring it out in the open and start trying to make people accountable then the reputation may get better, and we all know that can't possibly be the goal of the AFL.

I just wish I was their rug or broom supplier, they must have made a fortune!

Lols

I heard(pun intended) that the AFL wanted to merge with Essendon and present a united front against every other teams players and coaches...

They do that pretty well themselves without our help

In what universe is Brynne Edelstone "supposed to be a role-model"?

Not to worry Brynne. "The Man" has to place that MDMA* in each and every one of your mouth; if they can't do that to comfortable satisfaction, it means you never took anything.

* = that's if it even was MDMA. Those bikies may have swapped it with something else!!!!

Sugar Daddy acquisition group?

The AFL have long tentacles, don't they. Imagine fitting up Brynne Edelsten just like they did James Hird. I wonder what she did to cross them. (Probably nothing, just like Jim.)

I used to see Brynne in Elwood often

In her light blue Aston Martin Convertible

with "Juddy" the dog (what a shocking little dog!!)

It was quite a circus. She visited the solarium regularly.

Role model...certainly not!

Edit:- Interesting, both this and the previous post are my two thousandth.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
