Jones and michie have both been solid, ANB looks promising. Riley and Grimes good in patches, unlike others i dont think gawns been that poor.

bemused at how mckenzie managed a senior call up. Agree with those saying jamar looks disinterested, just watch his attempted snap for goal for evidence.

hope mfc dont get any more injuries, there is not one player at casey who can be an afl player. So sorry for grimes ,just not up to it

Completely agree too! Young guys have time but non of our afl guys are ever going to take us anywhere from the looks of it unfortunately!

ANB certainly looks to be a future afl player. Michie could be a solid AFL player if he improves defensively. Fitzy and Gawn can't be forgotten just yet.

Things arent 'that' bleak

Michie has been BOG for us.

Gawn starting to come into it with a set up goal and as i speak a goal for himself.

There is a kid playing for Casey that is built like a toothpick and looks like he should be playing under 14s...

if you think they are the future afl stars we are in deeper [censored] than i thought ,afl players should stand out at that level, the casey listed players are getting us back in the game.I am sure grimes must have an eyesight problem.Imagine ablett having a run in the 2s for fittness he could play half back and still kick 10.

Has been playing forward this year, and has actually show a little. Doesn't mean anything that he's not in the ruck.

Not for the player perhaps, but I was more talking about the club. JAMAR on his last legs, Spencer and Gawn by no means certain replacements. The club will need to recruit another ruckman soon.

This gets seriously confusing. Is Gawn some kind of Colin Sylvia gone ruckman?

Awful... stupid... brilliant... genius... lumbering... agile... butterfingers... fishtrap...

Senior players or kids too?

Surely your aren't writing off O Mac, ANB, Harmes, Hunt etc etc already

What a frustrating game.. we handball waaay too much when it should be a kick forward.

Our Casey players are the main culprits.

ANB with 6 disposal this qtr has been impressive.

Will play senior footy this year.

On the counter attack and we handball to players standing still with their back to the goals causing turnovers. Just kick it!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
