Go Port!

Have Whorethorn lost that "Killer"%

It hasn't gone into their fwd line yet....

Awesome!

If port had of kicked straight like this in the final last year in the first quarter they would have won that.

wow Port

Hawks are looking lazy like the Essendon game

Perhaps we are heading for a very even season with a few surprise teams in the top 8 and the top 4 not as set in stone as everyone thought. Would be nice

Medial? How many weeks til we play them?

3 weeks. if they are minus Lake and Frawley we may be a sneaky chance...

Go Port. Loving this secretly as All the in laws are Hawks. They are dumbstruck. Hee Hee.

Oh yes if this continues, how long before a Hawk goes the biff?

Faked it so he doesn't have to play on Hogan.

Ports best is hands down the best in the comp, so slick and fast

I watched the Pies Game this afternoon Still cannot bring myself to type that other lot.

I have seldom seen a more useless player at AFL level than Brodie Grundy.

God deliver the Pies if they need him to lead them to a flag.

He make Spencer look like Brownlow candidate

Oh almost forgot.

That other mob got done

Ha Ha

You're having a really good weekend, OD!

Are we a sneaky chance at the flag as well...?

Are we a sneaky chance at the flag as well...?

That's just being silly.

We're a massive chance.

Port forcing Hawthorn left footers to kick on their right. Their kicking efficiency drops. Very good tactic.

yes thats what I thought, hes a good coach Hinkley.....

Im amazed no coach has thought of that sooner.

Well maybe they have but couldn't execute it properly.

Freo look scary against the Swans. We'll need 2 rucks to counteract Herman Munster- I think maybe Spencer rather than Gawn because he is more physical.

Would be fantastic.

Need Sydney to lose a game at some point soon though.

A year in which Hawthorn, Sydney and Geelong aren't dominant each week would be a refreshing change from the last 5 years.

Im amazed no coach has thought of that sooner.

I'd suggest it's the latter.

Port's midfield runs very deep and their pressure, when on song, is second to none.

Of course I am expecting the Dorks to pull something out of their ar se to snatch a win somehow. If it is possible from 50 points down they will find a way.

Oh please let Port dob the first two this quarter.

Gee, Port seem to be a new team having lost Wines to injury... seems he must have been holding them back ;)

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
