No disrespect Ethan, but please tell me what I have said that was wrong?

I gave you the scoop on:

  • Roos as coach (round 5, 2013) - completely dismissed by 100% of demonlanders
  • Mitch Clark - not really retiring, not prepared to play for Dees - completely dismissed by 90% of demonlanders
  • Dees in make play for Tyson (was smashed for this one)

To name but a few.

I challenge you prove you 20/80 or shut up.

Club going all out for Prestia... Pick 3 would have sealed the deal. I understand the frustration. Dees still very confident he will be in red and blue 2016.

The club is very confident that:

  • Hogan will re-sign to a long term contract this calendar year. Despite reports to the contrary discussions with his manager are on-going and positive.  We got close last summer.
  • Dion Prestia will request a transfer to the Dees at season end.  This means we will probably have to give up player and next years first round but in my mind this is utter gold. Dion is massively underrated on this site.  Do not judge Dion by last weeks performance...... he played injured.

I just know it's going to happen. We're going to trade ANB, aren't we? :S

Not at all. You just asked me to provide evidence where you were wrong. I pasted three examples.

I'm a fan - I recall the Roos information vividly  - you shared something that seemed most unlikely at time.

I would prefer you say more but that's just me.

To get a player like Prestia we will need to give up a player that the supporters would not want to give up. To my way of thinking he would need to be young but we have plenty of. Two names spring to mind would be Salem or ANB.

If it's a pick + a decent player, then i'd rather we steer clear.

Prestia has injury history and is nowhere near his output from 2 years ago. All those wanting him for what he could become again, are being subjective.

He would be a risky trade prospect, far too risky when a first rounder + player are what we'd have to give up.

Happy to be comforted on this by GNF on this one. Been bruised by people leaving in the past. Retention of Hogan would categorically put an end to that and send a  forceful  message.

I still laugh that people get sucked in by GNF and believe a word he says.

Give us another riddle you peanut.

Boo Ethan boo, not in a Scully boo way but a boo nonetheless. GNF has had great info in the past and I'm very happy he chooses to share it with us even if not everything eventuates. Particularly happy with his current info as it would be wonderful news for this club if Hogan re-signs and Prestia decides to wear red and blue.

Welcome back GNF. Not sure why but you seem to really upset some posters. Don't mind them. Haters gonna hate.

Just one thing though it's not true that 100% of demonlanders dismissed your Roos prediction. I didn't - so much so i cracked him to be our coach and had a nice collect on it.

I think Hogan will re-sign. But just a vibe. Sure the go home factor is big but as i've said before Freo are on the way down and i'm not convined about WC being a real threat for a flag in the next few years. Add the travel and living in a fish bowl to that and WA doesn't look too appealing i would have thought.

However what gives me most confidence is Goodwin's comments earlier this year about how brilliant it is is to be involved in a young group all developing together and getting a collective reward, how the clubs focus should be on creating such an environment and that if we do Hogan will likely want to stay (my interpretation of the last bit admittedly).

Well i can sense exactly that vibe growing and Hogan will want to be a part of it, And i can imagine so would Prestia.

If you can find me evidence of the Tyson prediction I'd be much more inclined to believe you. I don't recall anyone, on here on in the media, coming close to predicting that one.

Hahaha he didn't predict the Tyson one or Mitch one at all. First of all after the Essendon debacle in 2013 someone else mentioned on here that the club and AFL was straight into Roos about coaching. Media also started to hear whispers and ran with it and from there on it grew. GNF only came in after he had already grown legs.

And to prove about the Dom Tyson prediction Demon3 was the very first one on here who predicted this on 10 of September 2013.

I know he signed at GWS, but I think it will appear soon that the Demons have spoken to management.

Much as i love Vandenberg, with Oliver and Petracca, etc... maybe he'd be traded?!

Hey GNF,

Don't listen to all the haters, you cleary have some connections within the club because there is no way you can guess what you have shared with us all.

When I first started reading demonland (around the season when we landed Mitch Clark) It was because of you I kept coming back because I just wanted to get more info.

I for one really appreciate what you share and can't wait for your next scoop!

Cheers!!

If he ends up being right, will it matter?

I won't get into a debate about what GNF has gotten right or what he's missed, but if the first part of his info turns out to be correct then he's alright by me.

I don't know why people get so freaking worked up over these things.

he offers up some info, whether it turns out true or not, he never states that this is 100%.

If you don't believe him, fine, block him, you don't see his posts. But calling him a peanut is a bit petty, you are better than that Dazzle.
