I think we will bounce back from that this week and show it was an aberration - I'm not suggesting we'll win but, as you say, we have a very good recent record at the ground and I'm banking on the players coming out and making amends for the capitulation last weekend.

It's hard to face up to praha, but I reckon you're on the money. When GWS hit the front on Saturday I was as confident as one could be that we were going to get hammered from that point on. Our ability to capitulate is unequalled, and depressingly predictable. Objectively, it's quite staggering how fragile we are, and it makes supporting this team like a cruel joke. I have no idea when it will end, but this season so far tells me it's not even in sight. I compare it to the Hawthorn v Essendon game, where at no point until the siren went did I think the Hawks would lose. They're as predictable in the opposite way.

That resilience you speak of is rendered meaningless by the last 3 quarters on Saturday, and that St. Kilda comfortably beat GCS at home. Resilience against what then? A team that are currently worse than the two worst teams from last year.

Is this founded or just speculation? Genuine question. He seems like he has a bit of attitude, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing and I thought he was one of only a handful who tried to chase when they got on top, and he was dangerous in the first half.

Just my opinion and observation, when I speak about attitude I am not talking about his cockiness, that I like. He has genuine speed and yes he did put some chases on but if you watch Kent he gets caught flat footed and ball watching when he doesn't have the ball. He does not track or have his direct opponent within arms length when they have the ball. He decides to chase when (IMO) it is to late and it is because he wasn't close enough or tracking his opponent in the first place. He has speed and it looks like he is really putting in the hard yards but that again IMO is only because he wasn't doing the team thing in the first place.

Some refer to it as cheating and not running both ways, and Kent is not Robinson Crusoe in the league for doing this but you can not get away with it in our side. Said it many times he can be anything, the speed and acceleration he has will enable him to track closely enough with his opponent when we are not in possession to prevent them being an outlet, but it will also enable him to break quickly and gain enough space to provide an option in a turnover situation
