I remember that, but what involvement, if any, did Neeld and Craig have in that action? I thought the doctor acted on his own. Your post suggests that Neeld and Craig were somehow directly involved in the matter. I'm not sure that they were.

I personally rate Craig as a coach and person, he's a good man and knows his stuff.

Neeld was a the wrong fit for our club, but Collingwood can't speak highly enough of him even now so he may do well,

I think Craigy did the best with what he had when he was caretaker. He was given a bum hand and there wasn't much he could have done to turn the place around.

You are right WYL. I remember Craig saying at a presser that he could see things going wrong during Neeld's tenure and that he wish he had said more. The question that would need to be asked though is: would Neeld have listened?

They're not monsters. Neeld was merely incompetent - the club made the mistake of appointing him. I suspect that Craig was so excited by the lifestyle of a real city that he took his eyes off the ball (and got falconned).

They're the drug cheats problem now.

Neeld should have had no choice but to listen.

Craig was there as a mentor. But he was too nice.

He genuinely loved the players and probably got on well with Neeld and co.

Probably too well. He should have stood up after Round 2 2013.

It wasn't hard to see the club was in crisis from that moment.
