MFC MEMBERSHIP - SEASON 2015

Has it been announced anywhere yet what the replacement 'home' matches are for the 2 x NT games?

What's that all about.. totally missed it

Round 4 vs Richmond

Round 7 vs Hawthorn

Thanks!

I have an 11 game (all home matches) membership.

As two of those games are played in the NT and I am not able to attend, I get 2 replacement 'home' matches in Melbourne

(technically an away match but I can get in on my home match membership).

Last year that was Round 4 v Carlton & Round 9 v Richmond

Round 4 vs Richmond

Round 7 vs Hawthorn

Does that mean the match scheduled for Anzac Eve at the MCG will be played in the NT or have I missed something?

Or is this just a joke?

the "compensation" rounds bear no relationship to the nt games other than they are "compensation" for members missing these two "home" games

Thanks for clarifying.

oh right thanks, I thought maybe people were talking about a change to the actual fixture itself

Received my membership pack.

Have to wait until round 20 to go to our game vs Fremantle over here.

Will be coming over for a game or two next year, am thinking April 24, vs Richmond Friday night at the MCG.

March 5th I think we are playing Freo at Fremantle Oval in the NAB Challenge

Looks like i will have to miss out on a membership this year. Unfortunately we cannot afford one. Could be worse i suppose.

never mind srj, at least you might make it to a few home games (victories).....it all helps

Great to see the Legends memberships have SOLD OUT @ $969.00 a year each, fantastic.
I am really contemplating upgrading mine and the Wifey's memberships, used to just be a standard home game with reserved seats but after last years $50 upgrade to Redlegs seating offered by the club i cannot think of sitting with the plebs again! Extra 28 $'s a month (for both) can the budget stretch it!

Best seats in the house. You're pretty much sitting a few rows in front of Roos.

I agree, that whole wing forward pocket level two Olympic Stand is the best place to watch footy.

That's great for u 2 but in Qld we get another duck egg.

This post isn't directly related to membership. But, interested in the free Sunday entry for kids. The AFL Press release says: 'Children aged under 15 will be granted free entry to Sunday matches at the MCG and Etihad Stadium next season...'. Our club website refers to the 5 Sunday home games but not the 4 away games.

Does anyone know if it is for all Sunday games or just the home ones?

It is really is a good initiative especially for us having so many Sunday games. Now that we look like making a comeback it may get young kids back to supporting the Dees... This should help: 'Melbourne is also aiming to have all five home Sunday MCG matches as the club’s designated ‘Kick on the ’G’ games, giving fans the chance to enter the hallowed turf post-match.' The making of more future Dee members perhaps!

It's all Sunday matches at the G/Docklands not just MFC so yeah, it will be for both home and away - I wonder if this would have an impact on junior memberships?

This is shaping up like the 40,000 season, perception has so far outstripped performance.

They get about 80-100 a day I have gleaned, so we are about 'a week' ahead of last year...

Bernie Vince just tweeted:

"Nearly 25000 members for @melbournefc already. A pre Christmas record! Good to see everyone is as excited as I am about 2015!!"
