So happy to see this insufferable [censored] receive a one match suspension for yet another moronic, selfish act of stupidity on field. Right after coming out the week before lamenting his poor decision making and accompanying ban a fortnight prior.

Downright dhead.

Downright dhead.

Cant stand players who go over the 350 game total and continue to kick goals.

Lets hope he gets 8 weeks for being a spivv.

The ball was downfield. Harvey had absolutely no need to make any contact whatsoever with Selwood.

He deserves a suspension on that alone.

absolute champion of the game though. I'd well and truly put up with the odd few week ban if our players played like him.

Sorry Song...some good highlights but not so great given he has been playing for 15 years.

Longevity does not a champion make.

his little toe would be in our top 22.

he fluked those 350 games.

Longevity doesn't make you a champion, but

All Australian x 4

Syd Barker Medal x 5

Brownlow Runner up

Still being amongst your clubs best players at 36 years of age

Makes Boomer a champion

I would have thought it would be classed as insufficient force to constitute a report. Didn't give him a concussion, didn't sit him on his arse.

If he were a Melbourne player we would be screaming the house down over how that should not have been reported

Sure Joel Selwood bled all night but his eye brow would be paper thin, he's been cut there so many times

I almost ended up in a punch on at the Melbourne v North game when the bloke in front of me yelled out "you're a dog Dawes" so I politely reminded him why Boomer wasn't playing.

his little toe would be in our top 22.

So would about 80% of current AFL players!!!. Doesn't make him a champion.

Also, he is a super sook!

The sort of bloke you'd absolutely love if he was playing for your team. I can't stand him, but he has been (and still is) a super player. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

4x All Australians not good enough for you pal?

I detest him but the little rodent can play the game.

but he didn't hit above the shoulder
it was the accidental following head clash after the bump that caused a glancing blow which didn't even faze selwood

minor clash, deserved a free kick, that's all

harvey may be a plick but doesn't deserve to be reported/convicted for that or we'll end up with players missing games every week for trivialities

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
