Can Roos make him a king ?

Are we are talking about the arch criminal King Tutt ? If so always thought he was too flakey to stick around long term and too over weight to play in the mid field. He did have leadership skills but strangely only after he had been hit on the head !

Only saw the last quarter and a half of the VFL Grand Final and thought he played quite well.

Firstly, I have absolutely no idea about Tutt, but we haven't, under this current regime (one lead by a coach who has had in the past great success in turning sow's ears into silk purses) done what you are suggesting.

I trust this man with this record to do his recycling far better than his predecessors.

Probably a misunderstanding there. Not so much a comment on the Roos/Taylor/Viney recruiting regime but more a generalcomment on the folly of standing pat on the hand we have (which Roos has intimated will be tinkered with significantly and most on here agree needs major surgery).

If Roos pulls out another trade week like last years (I wonder how Damo felt last night when Dom got 3 BOGs in his first year), I will be one happy camper.

I can't believe people would put Jason Tutt in the same basket as Ben McGlynn. Hawthorn wanted to keep McGlynn but at the time couldn't match the dollars or opportunities offered by Sydney. Tutt can't get a game in a bottom 6 side. We need to turn over the list, but not just for the sake of seeming to be doing something.
