As I said a massive game of chess. The end results are far certain.

Our likely trade partner comes in black and white but is not a little bird.

Little bird but not Pies

Has to be Crows or Swans as I don't see WCW or Hawks doing much and are big birds

Hmm

I just re-read haha i got obsessed with the bird

Swans or Eagles.

That's enough now, don't want to know who it is.

Fact is we have thrown our net far and wide. Sometimes the bait catches a good one. If we didn't have the speculation what would we all be doing with our days?

Something productive, most likely.

Hi Damien Barrett, here's a scoop for you, Melbourne pick 2+3 for Zac Dawson to cover the loss of Frawley.

not a bad trade

Pick 2 an 3 are not guaranteed to be good players and Zac Dawson is an experienced defender that fills a need

WIll be interesting to see if this deal pans out

The more i think about it, the more Dan Hannebery ticks GNF's boxes.

Would be gettable for the right price too, I believe. Especially with Sydney needing the draft to bring in quality talent over the next two years with their incoming player ban. Wouldn't be surprised if they sold off some talent to free up cap space + stockpile picks.

just gonna throw it out there!!!

i read on Facebook somewhere that J.P Kennedy was unhappy with pay cuts or whatever it was... Now GNF being all cryptic..

my precidition is picks 3, 10 (or 12) and a player for J.P Kennedy....

would love a PM if I'm close to the mark... will not spill any beans if notified..

Sydney aren't allowed to bring in players through trade, only picks.

Can we please not spill the beans... the last thing we need is a leak that could doom the trade.

the beans been spilt, just unpaid for as yet. & lets not give those birds our picks.

now back to our trade busi ness. bummer, Is neil craig at all involved,,, Grand New Flag ?

Im actually starting to think it might be a Swan player too

With COLA being phased out and a bunch of stars on big money someone has to shake loose

and GNF said Black and White, well Dane Swan plays for the Magpies but its not a Collingwood player we are chasing

Riddle solved

We are getting a Sydney gun, as others said above probably Hannebery or Kennedy

Anyone else worried that article mentioned North Melbourne and Harry Lumumba have been in talks over the weekend and theres a fair chance he could end up at the Roos??

What article was that? North spoke to him a few weeks back but there has been no mention of them talking to him since he nominated us as his destination.

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
