Humour me, bear with me. The topic is a bit different as Im referring to the holistic overall change , not so much the components as they are well served elsewhere.

What am I getting at...well some ask that often

We as Melbourne supporters know we've been rubbish and for so many reasons. The Back office was lackadaisical, more occupied by....well insert topic of choice.

The list is wanting. The 'message" was wanting . the delivery was 'wanting'...we were just....deplorable.

As a group we sought solutions ne answers to our concerns. And then something odd happened.. Things started to happen. We do have some talent. Not enough. We have a Football Dept and a Ceo who Know wtf they are doing.

There is a plan unfolding that will see us change quite dramatically over this EOS into ...well, we dont know but it WILL be different and there will be knock-ons.

NOW after that long winded ( sorry ) opening I ask you. We are so used to misery , we hold the Martyr mantel of this league currently and a lot actually take refuge in it.

If we come out next season as competitive and with a list requiring constant recourse to the 'Footy Record" come gameday .. ARE YOU READY?

It seems like a silly thing to ask but I seriously think the club is about to hit the GO button.

This will require a change of paradigm ...from accepted losers to 'combatants'....i.e relevant .

This may cause bums to hit seats, flags to wave, hopes to lift.

You up for it ??

All due respect B59, you've been pumping these false dawns as much as anyone, especially since I started posting since 2009.

In that time, I remember the times you thought we were going to get KOTD during a draft/trade period, that some players would play "Neeld footy" - the Neeld that was hard/tough/uncompromising, not what hindsight showed us Neeld to being the incompetent/fcuked in the head type stuff. If I were to just rely on your ramping over the past 5 or so years, I'd be struggling to understand why we haven't gone back-to-back by now.

Luckily for you that I've been living this nightmare period too, so can understand your continual optimism when something new comes in, and sincerely commend you for it, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Only One?????

Elastic band and ice cream sticks would need replacing after one.

I am so ready to hang it instead of being the one that it gets hung on.

Also getting sick of forking out cartons of beer for standard bets that I've known for years that I'll lose.

Last bet I made was with my bummer supporting bro that the MFC would get to a Grand Final before the Dons did.

I claimed i won it in 2000, he never paid up for technical reasons...

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
