What is? Demoneyes [censored] eyed version of Picks 3,12,23 & Trenners (with both sides of the Richmond trade going to Adelaide for no apparent reason) or the actual trade which is effectively Picks 3,23 & Trenners?

I think Danger & Beams (& Sloane or Parker) would be worth that. Easily.

Pick 12 is Richmond's for now people!!

If you want a star you pay for it, Blues paid Pick 2 plus Kennedy who was pick 5 with 2 years development in him for Judd. Stars cost!

I am being the devils advocate here. I put up that we were big into Danger and also Shiel many many threads ago and was howled down. Funny thing that!

Because its a pipe dream/fantasy & Danger has already stated he's happy in Adelaide.

Do you hate these posts because they're realistic

yeah.. I just hate pipe dreams and once anyone in AFL states it aint gonna happen well then that is it ...

"I don't want to coach ever again. I can't see myself doing it," Roos said. "My view has changed a little bit from the time I left the Swans.

"Then I thought, I might go back one day, but I'm enjoying what I'm doing so much these days that coaching isn't something I'm thinking about doing ever again.

"I'm not interested in coaching"

And I really hope your initial thoughts are still right! With Danger & Sheil we know what we're getting & how they will perform on the big stage for us next year giving us instant improvement. Draft picks & Trenners not so much.

Just to add nothing but more speculation to the conversation, I was talking to my wife's uncle yesterday who is from SA and has contacts high in the AFC and also knows an exec at TAB. He said he had a call from a work contact who was in Bali on Friday and was desperate to know how/where he can put some money on the Dangerfield to Melbourne deal getting done on Friday. Obviously it didn't happen on Friday but perhaps it was held up with Richmond wanting to do their due diligence on Trengove?

Anyway just another interesting nothing story to add to the pile.

explains why buckley was there in Bali, seems if you want to talk turkey you have to get in the pen with them first. we need an office in Bali.

I still refuse to believe the hype... It's bloody exciting but I still can't believe it

My main reasoning is because I've been a Demons supporter for far too long (not as long as some) but long enough to know this, doesn't happened to us.

Sure we got Roos - but the AFL funded that through Peter Jackson. Goodwin was a good signing (hype wise - coaching wise we won't know for 3-4 years).... But what else?

Tyson was a fluke really but talk of Danger or 2 A graders coming to the Dees - who are we kidding haha??

I am going to dis-believe - Would hate to be wrong :)

I think we have found the source of where MFCSS started to incubate

Roosy before it was announced but I kept my mouth shut.

McLean to Carlton, big whoop.

A bit of social / personal stuff that would just get deleted on here but plenty of it eventually gets alluded to in the media.

Quite a few things before 2012, but I forget what they were, that's not a cop out, I went code blue a couple of times in intensive care in 2012 and my once excellent memory has been [censored] since.

Got the Judd one very wrong, I remember that.

I'm just adding to hope after I recieved the message. I'd like you all to be as crushed and disappointed as me if it doesn't happen.

But I really am excited.

I hope the Dees had nothing to do with that.

On a more serious note I hope all is going well since and that you have made as close to a full and healthy recovery as you possibly can (bar memory of course).

Thanks for the updates, much appreciated.

Adelaide FC twitter as seen from AFL website

Sorry but we can't give much (any) info about possible trades, interest levels etc. When we know something concrete, we'll let you know

Adelaide holding their cards close. I can't help but dream of landing a player like Danger.

They're nervous.

    @adamwbaldwin

I'm convinced they won't trade Trengove unless Pick 12 gets a bigger deal over the line. Despite insistence that Dangerfield isn't on the table, I suspect they are trying to build an offer the Crows can't refuse. I'm expecting something big out of Melbourne in the next few days.

dangerfield is gawn more to come

I was just about to post, that I think the Pies want Danger & are helping push Beams out to pay for Danger,,, but the Lions don't have the cache` to get the Pies over the lion with the Crows.

So we have picks they all want, but what do the Lions have to spare for us?

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
