GAME DAY - Round 16

No, I just had no idea what that strong of words meant.

i'm sorry that what?... it clearly meant to say "you owe us one"

Good goal! Take it on!

Kent, Salem and Kennedy-Harris are key going forward as mid/small forwards who can go into midfield.

"Won't be too many coast to coast goals by Melbourne tonight!", by commentators.

Suck on Kent's big one!

Kent is 100% a player for the future. Will be a gun.

Theres something about the boy ( kent ).....something waiting to erupt

Overpossessing the footy !!!!!!!!!

Roos ... 135 possessions ... 3 points.

Its obvious. Move the footy QUICKLY !!!!!!!

and kick it to Freo?

JKH was abysmal today. Totally disinterested. But that could be said of all in the Casey jumper today. That team is not good for the MFC guys.

I see Kent becoming a very good genuine on baller, touch of dangerfield there

Grimes ...

Grimes.

Shuts eyes.

Good call. Just cost me $10 because I said to my wife even she could kick it so he could not miss.

Same number of scoring shots so we in the contest, just need to find the goal posts!

Should be ahead

Gotta take your chances boys!!

It’s Game Day and the Demons return to the scene of the crime to take on the wooden spooners.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
