We may well have pick 6 as well.

I note Rohan is in and out of the side a bit. When Mitchell comes back they can't all play. They make like an early pick who will not cost much in the cap and who can be warehoused a bit.

Let me say before he plays his first game, I am disappointed he is not on our list.

At the same time Vince, Salem, Tyson and JKH were all worth it.

It will be interesting to see how he goes. There is always the ability to get him later...

Would you rather we took him at 9 instead of Salem?

No.

I just wish he would have slipped to a later pick for us.

Rohan was sub last week and came on for about a quarter; he failed to get a possession.

Not sure why everyone on here wants us to put in a bid for him.

Let Sydney train him up for 3-4 years and when we are cherry ripe for a tilt we can get him back :P

I too am upset we couldn't get him, but it was never on the cards given his draft range. It would have been an insane bit of luck for him to drop far enough for us to grab him. I will be very interested in seeing what he can do and speculating on whether we might trade for him at some point.

Wayne Carey gave Nathan Jones a jibe about Melbourne not playing on Friday nights, what a tool.

He'll STFU when the dees beat his beloved Norf..

He should be on our list.

We should've told Zac Jones to slow down mid last year.

He'd of slipped to us in the third round.

He would've politely told us to shove it and that he'll push his case just like every draftee. And his brother would've backed him up.

Would've liked to have him but:

Without the Tyson trade we would've had picks 2 and 21. Without the Vince trade we would've had picks 9 and 23.

Zak Jones went at pick 15. And as good as he looked tonight I wouldn't yet trade him for Salem and the things I've seen Salem do if Jones ends up a better player than Salem it's not a drafting mistake it's just indicative of the gap in development that I hope doesn't happen.

Why is everyone saying he is destined to become a demon..?

Is that because his brother plays for us?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
