Ah yes. Good old BarnDee. He cuts straight to the chase. Sometimes it's a bit tough to tell if he is cutting straight to the chase but if you can get through the garbled syntax and faulty punctuation, he is money.

If the boy plays smart footy and stops other opposition players blocking his run at the mark.

Therein, lies the unique problem of our side for the last 5 to 7 years….not enough selfless, team oriented shepherding.

Bruise free outside runners.

Not sure how he does this, maybe a teammate could help or an umpire might just interpret the rules in the right way.

Far too many posters in demonland are grammar nazi's. I suggest go and write a book and get it out of the system.

No place for spelling lessons on a footy fan forum!

I find it endearing in some cases.

Nor was the person you were responding to... he was asking a simple question and then clarified by stating the reason for the question (although I only saw the line being quoted as the original post had been deleted).

I think it was "I'll see your leg and raise you a back and a long road trip. Now fold, sucker!"

I wouldn't be surprised if Byrnes gets a run - he's experienced and Roos may want to see what he has to offer. I'd stick Pederson at FF - he's not mobile enough for CHF but could take a mark in scoring range. Don't know if your interchange is in any sort of order but I reckon Jones M will be given plenty of opportunities.

Have Howe at CHF where he has room, scope to use his aerobic capacity and speed. The Priest at FF as the gorilla.

So correcting spelling and/or grammar is worse than referring to someone as a Nazi?

Perhaps we do it because we wish to know exactly what a person means and not get into a slanging match with a poster who has written a post with the clarity of Russian tap water.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
