Liked your pics on twitter Saty... by the way, who was that walking behind Cross (maybe I'm out of touch or going more stupid, but I didn't recognise the face).

Mitch clisby

Saty u should be a roving reporter for Dee TV.

Can anyone post more pics here as I can't get onto the link for some reason?

Cheers

Blease was with the rehab group, like I said we seem to be ultra cautious this year, don't forget he has had the leg and then his ankle

Cross looks super fit, Vince was bouncing around, he had no problem with me stopping hime for a photo, looked good in the running, yes the footy came out, from what I could see we were practicing short outlet kicking coming out of back half

Thanks Hardtack!

Great photos, good to see the boys happy for an individual pic Saty.

I must also mention that holy sheep you look like Dumbledore from Harry Potter haha!

Interesting comparing the size of Mitch Clark with Jack Watts. Adjacent photos both approximately doing the same thing (running to the left and about to kick). Jack looks so much skinnier. Still needs to add some bulk.

I was actually going for Gandalf, keeps me warm in winter, and protects from sun in summer

I am not one for gushing about training, it's a bit pointless, suffice to say, there is now genuine competition all over the park, so post Xmas I reckon training will be willing.

Cross is genuinely pleased to get a second go with us, Michie is lovin' it (his words), Bernie Vince (see the smile in the photo).

For all the Hogan lovers though, apart from seeing Mitch Clark in full training, best sight today was Jesse thundering around the repeat 2 and 300's, just saw the photo posted, that's it

Watts is fine, seen him without the shirt, perfect size for his body shape

edit for gush

Have to disappear now, will answer any other questions over next day or two if there is any

Forgot one thing, from Chris Dawes to all the doubters, he will be back before Xmas, ready to go

Noticed that too, seems to have lost a lot if it during the break. Vince is also skinnier than I recall.

On the flipside, Grimes looks to be getting back to a good size, Howey is looking ripped, and Trenners is a solid unit but still has that baby fat thing going on.

Looking at the pictures doesn't seem to be any skinny kids on our list.

That is a hell of a positive change

Thats all great work thanks

The pic if Cross and Barry says a lot

the muscle definition on Cross is fantastic while Barry has a model of what he will need

[AFL Photos photo you need permission for]

Here is a hint, hh, if a picture has a watermark on it - you need permission to use it. If it is used on a website or forum such as this, it is the owners and moderators of the site in question that is responsible for the infraction.

Get it?

bit like our colours OD...took 'em a while to get the bleeding obvious right !!

YEP

What's a handle and how do you use it?

No idea BB I am struggling to work out what a mouse is.

Up to now I thought it was a small grey rodent!

Trengove in most of the recent photos I've seen of him is noticably bigger in the arms and shoulders.

Looking forward to Toumpas getting a bit of muscle definition going also but appreciate he's only a second year player.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
