Personally I watch every melbourne game plus maybe two more a weekend, check afl website once a day and demonland about 3 times a day.

What websites do you all go to? How many games do you watch a weekend? What are the ways you follow footy?

Purely out of curiosity

Usually I watch almost every second of every game slot (if there are two games on at once, I flip from one to the other), but for about six weeks up until the finals this year I didn't watch a second of footy besides the Melbourne games. In the last two weeks, I didn't even watch our games - that's how sick I was of our performances.

I've been away backpacking all season so apart from the first nab cup game I saw before I left the majority of Demon contact I've had has been here on DL. I also check the Dees and AFL apps as well. I bought a subscription to afltv before I left so I could watch any game live or replayed, rarely had internet fast enough to use it and there wasn't many games worth watching....

Really looking forward to next season. Going to get to as many Dees and Casey games as I can, been going through withdrawals.

Ps thanks to all you DL posters and mods. In what has been a crazy year for the Dees and the whole Messendon drugs saga you guys keeping me informed on all the changes, charges and such has been bloody brilliant for someone far away from it all.

Cheers guys!

I only have free to air TV so don't get every game, but whenever its on i'm watching the games whether its melbourne or not.

Whenever i get a chance i'm checking the afl or superfooty(Hsun) sights, same goes for demonland.

Go to every Melbourne game at the G. Generally another game at the G each weekend too, assuming a good fixture is on. Download every Dees away game from aussierul.es and watch as much as I can bear! Watch one or two other games on Tivo, with the laptop open.

In all, I consume far too much footy (and still know stuff all about it!).

How do you follow footy?

I have to say with diminishing enthusiasm over each of the past few years :-(((((

(though always optimistic until preseason starts)

Young and single, clearly. :)

I watch at least one game a week. I always watch the Melbourne game unless I genuinely can't, which is usually only if I'm at work (I work shift work). I will watch the Friday and/or Saturday night games if my wife doesn't feel like doing anything else (i.e. default option if no better offers). I almost never watch non-Melbourne day games as I am usually busy with the kids and family.

Watch every game-luckily my blues supporting partner likes footy. Or she's reading/posting on her sites while I watch. Also watch 360 abd OTC.

Even go to watch EDFL games sometimes. Bloody Greenvale knocking off Abers.

Also watch SANFL and WAFL on iview.

I'm an insomniac which gives me a lot of time to watch.

Haven't missed a game in Melbourne for 2 years now, and only a few in the past 6 seasons. Generally watch at least 2 FTA games a week, follow the whole weekend, check scores etc. You know, just because it's on and it's the footy season. Probably have slackened off in my interest for neutral games of late, but I'm still a very obsessive footy person (can remember scores well and know nearly all players)

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
