FB: Dunn Frawley Garland

HB: Strauss McDonald Terlich

C: Toumpas Jones M. Jones
HF: Tynan Dawes Tapscott
FF: Howe Fitzy Byrnes
Foll: Gawn Viney Sylvia
Int: Trengove, Grimes Watts Clisby

OUT: Blease, Davey, Pedersen, Kent

IN:Tynan, Strauss, Garland, Terlich

I'm that sick of Blease, Davey and Kent. They don't tackle, they don't chase and they don't find the footy. They are complete passengers. Kent's spent a lot of time as sub and he's young so he needs a rest back in the VFL but there is no excuse for the other 2. It's time to give Josh Tynan a go as a guy who is a natural defender and maybe limited as a footballer but he leads Casey in tackles most week and will have a crack. He can also find the footy which is more that can be said for Blease.

I'm hoping Frawley is ok and Garland and Terlich can come back in. We missed their ability to actually back themselves and rebound the ball today. Pedersen is complete garbage and Clisby needs a freshen up which I'd give him through the sub vest. I see no reason he can't come on and play half back or wing and give us something. Strauss has more than earnt his spot compared to half the guys who get gifted games each week.

Craig made the right call to keep the side settled whilst we had some improved performances but todays effort was abysmal and we have to make some changes. I think 4 and not including Magner is conservative.

Not that I really give a sh!t about this season anymore, but if I see Dunn and Pedersen in the team next week, I will officially go off the rails and lose it.

Two of the most pathetic, extrodinary poor footballers going around. Dunn has been screwing us for years, and Pedersen is just an enormous facepalm moment from our dearly departed Neeld. Horrendous.

Time to bring in those who have been serving time in the VFL and find out if they are worth retaining. If we don't do it now, we will never know.

Davis, Strauss, Jetta, just bring them in and let them play. They can't possibly do worse than lose by 120 points!

P.S.- NO GILLIES!

I've been a big fan of Craig's decision to try to maintain stability as best he can since he started. Fitzpatrick is a perfect example of how that can work for you.

However, not rotating the players after the Darwin game sapped us probably hurt us today, and there are quite a few players who have been passengers the last month. Changes really need to be made.

Even if Garland's not ready, Pedersen goes. There aren't enough tall forwards at GWS to warrant having him anyway. Kent and Clisby maybe could use a spell at Casey to refresh, Toumpas possibly as well. Blease and Davey need to be dropped, Dunn possibly as well given his abysmal use of the ball.

As for who comes in, Strauss, Jetta, Tynan, Taggert all could be looked at to make the final call on them. It's all deckchair shuffling though, really.

Did you actually watch the game today. I thought Dunn was about our best. He played on Thomas, who kicked 7 last week and was thrashed by Dunn today. Gee give him some credit for a good game.

You want to talk about gutless, hello Flash. If it was me he would have played his last game for us today.

It's harder to assess off the radio. Each time I heard his name it seemed to be associated with a turnover.

I guess if he's beating his man then that's a step up from the other 21 players.

Sadly, I think you're right on the button about Aaron. His days are numbered.

Time to stop treading water and find out more about our list...

IN: Taggert, Tynan, Davis, Jetta, Spencer, Strauss

OUT: Who cares

Make or break for spots on our list.

Fair sentiment, but Spencer in for whom? Gawn was one of our better players today. If we're going to make wholesale changes, we should at least start with the ones who gave us zilch.

For anyone, I don't really care. Give Gawn or Fitzy a rest if we have to. Time to find out if those time wasters are up for it or not. Sick of having guys on our list who have played close to 0 games, what a waste.

Oh I watched it.

Dunn couldn't hit a target, is a dumb footballer and gutless.

His turnovers cost us numerous goals, so the fact that his opponent didn't directly kick goals on him, undoes all the good work defensively.

And it goes without saying that Davey is done. But giving him the rest of the season to play before he retires, won't change anything.

It's rewarding people like Dunn with game after game while Davis has been serving a 4 year sentence in the VFL, that is mind boggling.

I know what I can get from Dunn, and I hate it.

Again, I'm happy to look at these players with question marks, but given we have so many spuds playing right now, it shouldn't be at the expense of the ones actually giving a yelp.

That's all fine for teams tracking for finals or in a reasonably healthy shape, but we are in desperate need of finding out about our players.

Davey had directly cost us two goals at the point we were 13 points down in the 2nd.

I disagree Dunn cost us numerous goals.

Dunn is actually a good kick and is the only one who seems to be able to kick out and hit a target. Other than Watts no one else can.

He is no star but he played a good game today. He can also tag and be a run with player. Would you rather he have the ball in his hands or McKenzie?

I would also like Davis to get a run.

This is completely incorrect.

Dunn may have done enough in beating Thomas to keep his spot in the side, and may well have been one of our best, but his field kicking is as bad as anyone else in the side. You're not watching enough games if you think Dunn hits targets kicking in. Again, while he may have hit one or two today, week in week out he reverts to bombing it 50 metres to a contest.

You may be right to defend him today, but in general his up-and-under kicking style is a liability.

I am on record as I cannot stand Dunn and the sooner he is out of the side the better. However he clearly beat Thomas, did not shirk a contest today and to my recollection only cost us one goal with an error today.

Craig has gone on record as stating the rest of the year is about team and individual development. There is no benefit to playing Davey. I hope today was his last in the MFC jumper.

Just play the kids. I'll handle 122pt loss knowing they are young and learning. But flash, Byrnes, pedo, Dunn, etc fill me with no optimism. Even blease can go back to vfl and just learn how to get the footy. Tynan, Davis, taggert, I don't mind who.

I've lost all discretion for caring about the players when they serve that filth. And they wonder why 16,000 people turn up. Here's a tip lads- no one will waste their weekend watching your abysmally inept effort at playing a team sport if you don't show any pride.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
