Would like to see have seen Evans play a few more games this season (I really don't know where I stand with him).

He came out and had a couple really good games and then dropped a bit (maybe he needed a rest or the opposition begun to watch him)

Where do others see him? (a definite part of our future or is it to early to tell?)

I personally think he is going to be a very VERY good player, he needs time and is effectively a first year player given his injuries but i think in 2-3 years he will be the next cameron Bruce

To be honest Bruce is a distant memory for me. All I can remember was that he liked having space on the wing and liked to run slowly waiting for an opposition to come to him and then he would handball over the oppositions head to a team mate. (Or am I just making that up? ... seems like a life time ago)

I just think he will be a goal kicking wingman type, obviously abit quicker than Bruce but i am hoping he will be the same sort of consistant player, at one point Bruce was talked about as a possibility for the brownlow as was Johnstone, who toumpas reminds me quite abit of

I hope you're referring to his foot skills rather than his work ethic and attitude.

Just re looked at the injury list again with the exception of Clark and perhaps Evans the rest at not close to our best 22.

That means the current side over the last couple of weeks is as good as we can put on the park.

I don't believe we can blame the injury list for our woes.

We are just plain crappy.

RE not missing best 22 players, we are missing fringe players who would rotate in and our based on form.

Not a major problem but does impact selection.

Seems to me we are missing about 15 good players half of this best 22 are fringe players

Guys like Evans and Jamar should be wraped in cotton wool for the remainder of the season. No point risking them at all just get them ready for a big preseason.

Not too sure why we should be worried about Jamar he has been playing like our third string ruck man now for two years.

If only Pickles Evans could get a decent preseason under his belt and have an injury-free season. The club have perseverd with him over ( I think) 3 injury-riddles seasons now so they must see something in him in a similar way to Max Gawn.

Note to all Demonland revisionists: Cameron Bruce might have been an outside player whose helicopter drop-punts and hospital hand -passes made us all cringe at times, but it is totally unfair to question his work ethic or talent. At his peak he was a very, very good footballer. Don't let's re-write our own history because we are all feeling so poorly about 2013.

You have my vote Maldonboy

he also had an ability that a few of the current crop could emulate

He could get the bloody ball even if he was an outside player.
