6.Garland - My pick for Bluey his year at this stage

5.McDonald - I like this kid been underdone for most of the year but think he'll be good for us for many years

4.Nate Jones - Warrior nothing more to say really

3.Sylvia - decent 4 quarter game from Col, but any chance he can string 10 games together without injury or suspension, We need you to sign and play a full season over the next 2 years as we look to move forward.

2.Toumpas - The kid shows a lot and was good in the 2nd half

1.Watts - decent effort today, will really standout with a fit Dawes and Clark beside him

6- Garland (absolutely fantastic today, was really impressed)

5. Nathan Jones (always gives his absolute best)

4. Jack Watts (best game for year, looked really dangerous. Imagine what he'd be like with Clark, Hogan, Dawes and Howe.. :) :) )

3. Sylvia (28 possies, cant go past him)

2. Terlich, love his attack on the footy

1. Toump, very good but looked slow at times

honourable mentions: All umpires involved in that game (made sure Golden Boy Riewoldt kicked some goals today)

oh HAHAHAH hardy har effing har do you think youre the first guy to come up with that one? No, youre not, and the first guy that did it back in the middle ages was equally as much as a [censored] as you are. If you weren't happy with the performance tonight go elsewhere with your garbage, the point of this thread is to give some recognition to those who played well, and some of them deserve it. Yes we lost the game, nobody likes that.. but that doesn't mean everything that happened out there is worthy of criticism. A couple of umpiring decisions and you would be singing a different douchesong you douchebird. Harden up

Garland, N Jones, Terlich, Sylvia, Watts, Spencer/TMac. 6-1

6. Garland - superb

5. Sylvia - we need to be keeping this bloke if we can, he is now getting some consistency, though hopefully it's not simply due to him advertising himself to potential buyers..you'd really hope not.

4. N Jones - par

3. Watts - thank god we now have a coach who realises this guy is not a defender, what a farce that entire thing was..

2. Spencil

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
