If you can play and do play and have a go then it obviously doesnt matter what you look like when you cant or dont it just looks juvenile and pretentious

So Jackaub, by your reckoning, if you can't play -> cut your hair short and remain clean shaven because then you won't look juvenile or pretentious OR do you mean that if you look juvenile and pretentious you probably can't play that well????

Sends the playing group a pretty poor message IMO. Tank in a game and you get a weeks rest then straight back in!!!?? Might play well tomorrow but i think most of the boys will against a very under done GWS in only its 2nd season at the G.

We win by 8 goals or more i reckon. Regardless, a foolish decision by Neeld and the FD.

Then again maybe Wattsy has already found form doing some visualising techniques with the Dalai! B)

????? all I know is when some players are near the end of their careers, & fear the chop, they then cut their hair to look younger & fresher, to hope to stay on the list longer.

Jack Watts is one with huge upside. I will spew if he went elsewhere as he will be a star. Play him FORWARD for remainder of 2013. He is a good mark and kick. Must stay within 50. Tell him to video Nick Riewoldt. Up and back. Run Run Run. For god sake, teach this kid some intensity.

If we want him to stay then he needs to learn to respect the club, & stop overvaluing his importance in the side, because he less then half a player at present.

he's a throwback to the daniher days, where players didn't commit to the hard ball. & the other team disciplines.

go back to Casey & play amongst the boys & try harder.

First watts thread I can find. Went back into a bloke for once in his life and now is barely trying. VFL awaits.

Be it forward or back he has no accountability. Both will cost goals. He is labouring so maybe he has a corky but it's a lame excuse.

Just watched Jackie boy chase late quarter 2 looks completely disinterested and lazy

When is this poor excuse for a footballer going to just go away What a waste!

Softest player i have ever seen

a disgrace to the MFC and the coaching panel should be made to answer for having him in the team

he's incredibly lazy when it comes to chasing, tackling, shepherding, corralling - basically all the hallmarks of defensive accountability.

[censored] poor observations. He's chasing all over the ground, and he's the only one doing it.

Instead of focusing on a guy who is trying to chase why not talk about all the players not chasing at all?!

When you watch the replay, watch how many times Watts is the only one chasing, count how many other MFC players are in camera shot, and observe the different parts of the ground he's doing it in.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
